For centuries, humans all around the world have dreamed of flying into space.

For decades, people have watched in awe as their heroes paved the way and made the incredible journey to outer space. Now, at last, the possibility of space travel is open to all of us if we dare to dream…

And yet none of this would be at all possible if the idea, the thought, the dream had not existed and gained momentum within the incredible “inner space” of the mind. The quiet, unbusy, inner space where dreams become reality…

We don’t often think about the origins of things we take for granted. Sure, somebody “invented” a gadget. Somebody dared to do something different. But where did the idea to do these things come from?

How did an idea grow from a tiny seed into physical reality?

The inner space of the mind – the imagination – is the dream-maker. Anything that anyone has ever created, he or she first dreamt up in the quiet of their mind.

This is where creativity flourishes. It’s hard to be creative when you’re immersed in worries and problems and unfortunately, most of us “use” our imaginations to imagine what could go wrong, or we go ‘round and ‘round in circles trying to solve problems using the very same thought processes that helped create the problems in the first place!

All this mental running around and ruminating blocks creativity because creativity requires thinking that is “other than” our normal patterns. To dream up a machine that was capable of flight, required belief that something relatively heavy could fly. To dream up wireless communications, required thinking that wires were not necessary. These were, at the time, radical ideas!

When radically new ideas come forth, they can be exhilarating, enlightening, and even scary. It can take tremendous desire and willpower to go beyond the logical mind’s insistence that “it can’t work!” But this process is made much easier in meditation.

When you’re in a relaxed meditative state, there is significantly less resistance to out-of-the-box thinking. You can “prepare the ground” for a brilliant idea by relaxing the mind and allowing yourself to play with new ideas.

You can explore the idea in a safe place that is free of logic or any physical constraints. You can push the boundaries, because there aren’t any. You can imagine what could go right and how things might fit together, even if it might seem impossible in the “real world.”

The “how” of dreams-to-reality

Have some fun with this: next time you meditate, imagine an ideal scenario. Go for the utopian ideal for you, whatever it means and allow your mind to wander in this new creation of your imagination. Delight in it, engage with it and explore it. Whenever your thoughts turn to “how” or “that can’t work” just gently remind yourself that you’re only playing and having fun feeling good about this idea – and bring your focus back to that utopian ideal.

Eventually your mind will relax and start to accept the idea as plausible – even if only in your imagination. And that’s okay! Keep at it, until the ideal feels normal.

And then something amazing will happen.

Your magnificent mind will start to reverse-engineer your utopian ideal. Your creativity will spark like never before, with ideas of actions and things that can move you toward that ideal scenario!

Here’s what I mean: long ago, people imagined man walking on the moon. Wouldn’t it be cool? So they thought about it, and thought about it, and over the course of centuries people started inventing things that moved humankind one step closer to walking on the moon. Just one step at a time.

The wheel. The internal combustion engine. The computer. Rockets. Airplanes. You get the picture, right?

The ideal, and the thinking about the ideal, sparked creative thinking and ideas to make it happen. Now, walking on the moon is a pretty big deal and it took centuries of people feeding off each other’s ideas to make it happen.

But what if your dream really is achievable in your lifetime?

What if you just focused on it, and focused on it, and focused on it some more – all the while feeling happy both about the idea AND happy with “what is” (this is important)… wouldn’t that spark the most amazing ideas and steps to make it happen?

Yes, it would.

You can use brainwave entrainment to get into that quiet, unhurried, all-things-are-possible inner space, where you can explore without boundaries and create to your heart’s content. And the more energy you give your ideas, the more you “water” them and allow them to grow.

Effortlessly accelerates the benefits of meditation

Important Tip – when you get an idea, ACT ON IT without hesitation. It’s a step, and it’s being offered to you! Don’t say “no, thanks” to your dreams by avoiding taking action on your ideas!
