Time to get really comfortable. Make sure the temperature of your chosen place to meditate is warm enough.
It’s absolutely okay to sit, recline or even lie down.
- 1. Close your eyes and begin to focus on your breathing.
With each steady breathe in, you invite deeper and deeper levels of relaxation and calm into your body.
With each steady breathe out, release any tensions of the day.
Continue like so until you reach that place within, where peace and calm reside.
- 2. When you reach your place of peace and calm, bring your attention to your heart and just become aware of it.
You heart is the key to your life and the more you pay attention to it ( listening out for any messages coming through ) and effectively act upon what you hear from it, the more life begins to flow in a way that is perfect for you and your purpose.
- 3. At this point, truly give thanks to your heart for bringing whatever it was to your attention.
Show your heart the utmost kindness. If any feelings of guilt arise that leave you sorry for having not taken better care of it, forgive yourself. Do though, make a conscious effort to pay better attention to it from this moment onwards. Gratitude and forgiveness are important stages of this process.
- 4. Now, look within your self. As each moment passes, meditate on the variety of ways that make you feel special about you.
Focus on each one as it arises and offer your heartfelt thanks for these unique and valuable qualities, that have always been there.
