Everyone wants to know the answer to “how can I find inner peace?” but first thing’s first, what is Inner Peace?
In essence, it’s simply the result or reward if you like of a quiet mind.
An inner quietness that allows you to see yourself and the world around you as it is, without frustration or stress.
Contentment is found in simply just ‘being’.
Inner peace is there for the taking, in fact it’s already there and available to everyone.
All that’s required is the ability and courage to be able to find inner space among the constant thoughts that repeat themselves over and over again.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that Meditation is one of, if not the most powerful and long lasting antidotes to stress and turmoil.
Inner peace is just one of the wonderful benefits daily meditation (if only for 12 minutes a day) has to offer. There are so many possibilities that open up to you when you begin to live a more meditative or mindful life. It not only produces a more peaceful state, it’s full of excitement and wonder too.
The unrest in the world is unsettling to say the least, but the personal unrest that resides within so many of us is growing to epidemic proportions.
We live in an increasingly faster, more hectic world with financial debt, demanding jobs and a higher cost of living that seems to continue to grow.
This is exactly the reason why we must be finding inner peace ourselves, so that we can share this magic ingredient with our next generations.
There is a verse from the Tao Te Ching (pronounced dow day jing) that tells us “chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench.”
This is the key to inner peace. It can not be bought or traded for goods. You must reach inside of yourself and discover the peace that is already there.
Finding it is the most important journey you will ever set out on.
True and lasting inner peace comes from finding the joy in wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, with whomever you’re with at the time.
