Default Donation Box- Suggestion to Michael

Michael, in your newsletter i read that you have trouble keeping this site up and running financially.
How about having a donation box, where members can donate a certain amount of money to keep the site up and running. I have seen several websites that have this option in place and some have had quite a lot of money donated.
Maybe, to entice members to donate, you could award karma credits.
E.g. 1-5 = 20 karma credits
6-10 = 40 karma credits
11-20 = 60 karma credits
21-30 = 75 karma credits
31 and over could equal 85 or 90 credits?

I'm not sure whether it'd be a good system but i certainly think you should have a donation box.

Hope this helps

Divinitywolf

It should be emailed to you.
If you sign into your email account the emails should be there.

Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion!

It's a nice idea, but I have taken counsel from someone who I respect greatly and in order to guarantee this place is here for the long-haul, I will be taking this advice.
