Thumbs up Exercise track

Hi

It would be great if there was a CD/MP3 for when people doing Exercise...

I goto to the Gym 3-4 days a week for 30mins and do running/steps etc...

I know Athletes talk about getting into the "ZONE" and this must be a certain brain wave...

I sometime have this happen to me and when i close my eyes i can feel it... I'm able to run/train harder...

I dont know what the "Zone" Brain waves are but a track to help get in the ZONE would be great ....

Hi there again. Are you looking for a track to step up your training, motivate you to exercise, enjoy it more, make double use of the time you invest in physical training or something more specific?

I understand athletes rehearse over and over again how they are going to win in their mind before the event, simulating the event before it happens and then before they start you see them close their eyes as they run the winning tape once more of how they have visualised the desired outcome. I'll look out for your reply and apologise if I have missed the point

Hi

What i'm thinking is there must be some research of the brain waves people have when they are in the Zone... I guess it might be a form of Alpha....

If a Cd with some up beat music with LifeFlow at that level could be created ...

I could use it at the gym and within 8mins or less get in the zone , which would increase my workout etc....

People could use it for running/weights all kind of exersie , maybe even before a race to help visualise the desired outcome.

Just some thoughts ...

But i think it would work ?

Smile PodRunner

Hello everybody,

I'm all new here at the forums and very excited to be here. I just thought I'd mention the fabulous site I use for my exercise music - PodRunner by DJ Steve Boyett. It's FREE, based off hefty tracks off the massive electronica site Beatport.com. Many kinds of music and avaiable at several tempos from jogging to sprinting. Enjoy!

Default The zone...

The 'zone' is mostly the result of hormones released.

Once you're good at running it can certainly be a relaxing experience but no, the zone is not, as far as I'm aware, anything to do with brain waves per se.

My 1st post by the way *waves*

"waves back"

Welcome to the forum Dobkin !

I am not entirely sure if saying
The 'zone' is mostly the result of hormones released.
completely covers it.

When thinking about it, almost every feeling or state could be attributed to hormones, like being in love, angry, anxious...
The fact that they are hormonal in cause, doesn't diminish or change the feeling you experience in my opinion. Mind you, I am just rambling on the topic, please feel free to disagree with me, I enjoy discussions

From what I heard "the zone" is experienced as a "state of being".

Who knows what can be done through entrainment to enhance the chances of reaching this state ?...

It will probably take years of research to find entrainment that can access that state...
