Wanting to improve my brain chemistry

    Hi,

    I've been a meditator for almost 15 years now and still, I'm left wanting a better functioning brain.

    I find myself forgetting more than I want and have certain patterns of neurosis that appear in times of stress.

    I can FEEL that my brain is not functioning at optimum levels.

    I prefer meditating in silence, even after I got the LifeFlow program many years back. I started going through it, but returned to silent meditation.

    I'm back to ask the question, however - what combination of LifeFlow products can you recommend to improve on my brain chemistry. Is there one particular level of LifeFlow that is better suited for this?

    I guess the best way to influence your brain chemistry, is just by watching your nutrition. Like giving the car the right fuel.

    Besides that, Yoga and sports in general can help. There are also rumors that keeping ones sexual energy can help get a clearer mind - though that may be different for everyone.

    Hi Eivind,

    I use LifeFlow entrainment to relax, read and always at the computer. Playing it very quietly and over speakers works brilliant for me. Classical Magic is the only only one I play a little louder (as background music) I do also use the various levels of LifeFlow, including the Gamma tracks to stimulate and stay in the conscious states I choose.     In my opinion exercise is the best medicine for a healthy mind and body. Regular exercise will not only benefit you physically, it can provide emotional and psychological perks as well. During exercise, several different chemicals are released into the brain, with a broad range of positive effects. These chemicals are powerful mood- and mind-boosting substances.

    I agree with the above comments. Aside from LifeFlow and keeping an active lifstyle, you can also opt for a healthy diet. Getting rid of processed foods and meals that are prepared poorly will make you feel better physically, that will be translated to a good mood. Travel once in a while or renovate your home into something that's close to nature. These methods will surely eliminate the negative chemicals and increases your endorphine and serotonin hormones which are helpful to reverse depression and always making you feel positive despite the stressful situations that you face. Always think that if you give in to the stressors, you'll be lowering your positive hormones and that's not helping.
