Default If I want to meditate alone for a longer period ..if anyone has accomodation to recom

I am considering to meditate longer period alone, maybe even to go to rishikesh and find a cave or something..
Just I am considering practical problems, what will I eat and where will I sleep..
As I am from Europe , I don't even need to go to India, even some nice accomodation anywhere where I can be alone, and have some nature arround would be perfect..
If anyone has something to reccomend it would be perfect??
thanks!

Many believe peace, happiness, whatever.. can only be found in other places, and fail to see that these things come from within. You don't need to go anywhere to be able to meditate successfully.

I have meditated in a quiet room in my house, I have meditated in the middle of a room full of people eating their lunch and talking. The meditation was not effected either way.

Hugs

Giles

Default I agree

I agree with Giles. If you feel the need to go somewhere else to meditate then you are simply running from yourself. I've tried running from myself for peace, it really doesn't work out. I have found, however, that meditating in the same place every day does help in the long run.

Follow your own information and impulses about where to meditate.
Your answers are inside of you.
Blessings
