Default Getting at 10Hz or below without binaural waves.

I have a technical question for the experts out there. I do understand how the binaural process works, and how, as a result of that, specific frequencies can be received.

On the other, though, I don’t understand how LifeFlow can “push” frequencies of 10Hz and below with other means than the binaural one. Knowing that a normal human hear cannot perceive any frequency below something like 20Hz, and knowing that normal headsets cannot go any lower than 14/16Hz, how can a frequency of 10Hz or less be transmitted to the brain (excluding the binaural method, that is…)?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light to this!

Charlie

If you have a sound at an audible frequency and you turn it on and off, you can create pulses that are at the desired frequency. Obviously you won't hear them as a tone of that lower frequency, because we are not designed to hear those. You can feel them if you play with a good loudspeaker though. And your brain is a master of pattern recognition, it notices the regularity of the pulses and can attune to them. For some people this is more effective than binaural beats, but for others it is the other way around.

I think with Lifeflow, if my memory serves me correctly, it uses two audible frequencies that out of sync by a certain amount, causing a "beat", and it is that "beat" that is happening at less than 10Hz rather than any one specific sound. This "beat" is the "on and off" that Itlandm is referring to.

Thanks both for the clarification!
