Default Wireless Headphones

I have been using some wireless Thomson WHP 460U headphones and find they give a slightly clearer sound than the recommended Sony cable headphones. Are any of you people with technical experience able to tell me whether the binaural, monaural and isochronic beats get through. I am about 7-8 metres from the player. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Hi Oneflower,

Sorry for the late reply and here is the answer to your question.

There is nothing at all to indicate wireless headphones would pose any issues just because they are wireless. The real problem has always been the use of equipment that has features which specifically alter, enhance, boost, or adjust the quality of the sounds in any way such as surround sound, EQ, bass boost, etc. You should have no problem with wireless headphones.

I would suggest that you try it with both types (wired and wireless) and see if you notice any benefits one way or the other and then post your findings here.

So to sum up, you should not have any negative effects by using wireless headphones. I hope this helps to answer your question.

Have a great week!

Kind regards

Tech Support

Default Wireless Headphones

Thank you for your time and efforts. Thats great news because i have to say the clarity through the wireless headphones is far greater than through the cabled Sony hphones and of course far more convenient Both are good but there is a complete lack of background system hum with the wireless hphones. Thats probably more to do with my cd player however. Once more thanks. You're a great team !
