combining Life Flow with other technology

Has anyone in our community ever tried to combine Life Flow with Light and Sound machines before? I can personally attest to the power of Life Flow as it is. It's amazing! I'm just curious if the tracks could be used in conjunction with Light goggles. A friend of mine has a Procyon Light and Sound device and swears by it. I tried it out and enjoyed the experience, but I found the sound/music to be inferior to Life Flow, so I got to thinking : What if you could combine the sound of Life Flow with the lights of the other? Any thoughts?

Hi FooJoy,

You cannot mix LifeFlow tracks with light and sound machines. The entrainment waves would have to be synchronized with the light pulses and to do that the synchronization must be built into the tracks at the time of their design.

Pulsed lights are the most common cause of triggering seizures in people.

I have determined I won't have any products created that carry those kinds of risks. I will not even use them personally. The company who create all LifeFlow products also create tracks for schools and the medical profession.

If a person has a light machine they can (in most models) input sounds from an outside source. The machines have an input jack to receive third party sounds. However, there is no synchronization between the waves of the entrainment track and the pulses of light from the light machine. At best you will get very little in the way of an effect. On the other hand you may well get the visual entrainment pulses conflicting with the sound entrainment pulses. I don't consider this a wise thing to do. Anyone trying it out needs to understand they do so at their own risk.

I appreciate your prompt reply. Having heard this I certainly won't be purchasing a light and sound machine any time soon. I didn't realize that seizures were possible, and even though that didn't happen to me personally, the thought is a little frightening. It could be my friend doesn't realize this either! As an aside, I just meditated with LF3 and was blown away. I have been amazed at previous levels, but this is the first time I actually felt slightly "out of control", as if I were frightened. I think my subconscious is warning me to take this level very slowly. Thanks again for the info Michael.

Michael, which company would that be? My girlfriend's mother teaches a class for mentally slower children from lower-class families and is always looking for new and different ways to reach them and help their growth as young people. I'd love to know the name of this company and what sort of products they offer for schools that she might use in the classroom.
