Hi Leanne,
I agree with Pollyanna.
At first sight it would seem logical to link LifeFlow 7 with anger, 1 + 1 = 2 right ?
You listen to LifeFlow 7 + feel anger = LifeFlow causes anger.
However, if LifeFlow 7 could do that, cause anger in people, more people would get that reaction. And actually LF7 has been voted as the best LF track of all by most meditators in this forum.
So, the anger must have a different cause. It could be that you have this reaction due to sounds in LF7 that you associate with a feeling of anger, for instance rain, thunder, a bird chirping, the windchime...
Or the entrainment with LF7 is creating a neural pathway through some old forgotten memory or unprocessed emotion that suddenly bubbles up.
This is actually a very special occurrance for you, as you get the chance to investigate the root of your anger. Obviously, LF7 may not be the cause, but it can be the trigger that (re)surfaced the emotion.
First step to take the next time you feel anger, is to accept it.
Someone, I think it was Pollyanna once posted a poem by Rumi, "The Guesthouse":
The Guest House -- by Rumi
This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
Treat your anger as such, and be amazed at the results
