i was also wondering if maybe you spent a little more time with each level it might give your body and mind time to more completely adjust to the changes that are taking place. i do not know how quickly you progress from level to level. for me it has varied a little bit but i have not found changing faster than every 60 days is necessary. i try to have two shorter meditation sessions each day. the first one i use a life flow level that i have already completed. the second one i use the track i am currently working on. maybe something like that would ease your adjustment.

Grey,

your suggestions are wonderful! I'll follow them: listen to lifeflow 8 for more 15 days - or beyond. Not to hurry is better; then I will be able to enjoy the voyage, too...
And then, I'll try your second idea: listen to level 8, and to level 7 the same day ( one in the morning, and the other at night, perhaps) when my schedule permits... I can make an experiment. Or simply, give myself the necessary time to go ahead to level 7 and beyond...
Thanks again!

I think that each level demands more on us. Maybe the dimension of reorganizations of the brain is more demanding ...

Hi there Leanne,

like a lot of people in this thread, I actually loved LF7 from the very beginning, however, like yourself, there will have been others who may have felt similar to you.

Try to remember, when any negative emotion arises as you meditate to any of the LF series, it is a wonderful opportunity for you to simply observe the sensation and allow it to dissipate (usually forever)

I wish you much peace and joy

Hi Leanne,

I agree with Pollyanna.
At first sight it would seem logical to link LifeFlow 7 with anger, 1 + 1 = 2 right ?
You listen to LifeFlow 7 + feel anger = LifeFlow causes anger.

However, if LifeFlow 7 could do that, cause anger in people, more people would get that reaction. And actually LF7 has been voted as the best LF track of all by most meditators in this forum.

So, the anger must have a different cause. It could be that you have this reaction due to sounds in LF7 that you associate with a feeling of anger, for instance rain, thunder, a bird chirping, the windchime...
Or the entrainment with LF7 is creating a neural pathway through some old forgotten memory or unprocessed emotion that suddenly bubbles up.

This is actually a very special occurrance for you, as you get the chance to investigate the root of your anger. Obviously, LF7 may not be the cause, but it can be the trigger that (re)surfaced the emotion.

First step to take the next time you feel anger, is to accept it.
Someone, I think it was Pollyanna once posted a poem by Rumi, "The Guesthouse":

The Guest House -- by Rumi

This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

Treat your anger as such, and be amazed at the results
