Default First Time success

Just started and Meditated twice today. This is my first real time trying meditation and honest to god it changed my whole outlook on life. The first thing I noticed was that my mind was completely clear after my first practice. It felt as if my mind completely renewed itself and got rid of all the problems I thought I had. Everything seemed so much more real and alive. The best way to explain it is that I was "awake." It was incredible. After my second meditation I just laid in bed for about 30-45 minutes with barely any thoughts passing through my mind and just being who I was. I wasn't thinking about the past or future. I had nothing that I felt I needed to do but just be. It was so peaceful. I'm excited to see what the future holds for me, I have a feeling that this may be a life changing experience. Thanks!

Thumbs up

Good for you Aron, I am really pleased for you. It took me considerably longer than yourself to reach states like this, which proves Michael's theory about not comparing your meditation experience to others.

I totally agree with your statement:-

"Everything seemed so much more real and alive. The best way to explain it is that I was "awake." It was incredible. After my second meditation I just laid in bed for about 30-45 minutes with barely any thoughts passing through my mind and just being who I was. I wasn't thinking about the past or future. Life truly is amazing when you can "just be" I wish you happiness and joy on your amazing journey of self discovery

Hi there, "Who am I?" that's a big question. As far as the Project- Meditation community forum is concerned, I am a moderator. I was introduced to Michael Mackenzie through a good friend some time ago when he was visiting the U.K. Because my main purpose in life for many years has been to help myself and others improve their lives and live more consciously Michael asked me to be a moderator and I very happily accepted. Although I have my own business and am very busy, I like to welcome, help and encourage as many people here as time allows. Myself and my family have benefitted hugely through LifeFlow and it's my pleasure to give back and help others whenever I can. Thankyou for providing me the opportunity to say to every member here, although I am dedicated to this community and each one of you, it is not possible for me to answer anything like all the posts, however it is not necessary either because their are many kind and helpful people here and it's great to hear and learn from your many different experiences. I wish you all an abundance of happiness and joy on your journey of self discovery
