
I can't believe that after a few sessions with discover meditation I feel so calm and mushy.
I am unable to work at the moment as totally exhausted and diagnosed with m.e/c.f.s. This in in itself has caused me even more stress and worry until I googled meditation last weekend and joined there and then. I commenced the cd's on Sunday pm and am already so much calmer.
This morning was my fisrt day out of the house in a couple of weeks as I seem to totally crash and burn from doing even the simplest of things. I needed to go into town to get my sons passport form checked and sent. I stood in the line for over 10mins and got to the counter only to find i'd picked up the spare(in case of error form) the filled in form was sat at home. being so tired and had this happened last week I would probably have had tears welling up and have got angry with myself. Instead i laughed, walked away and did the rest of my " things to do/ buy" with my mp3 playing calming and uplifting music. as i kind of floated around the town i was so aware of the tension on so many faces, people irritated at the old person walking too slowly etc, etc. I was one of those people, under pressure no time to spare always rushing around and trying to do way too much.
Here I am less tha 72 hrs after starting meditating, feeling calmer than I have ever felt.
I have so much to thank Micheal for this community is a turning point. Gilli
