As a longtime (almost lifetime 20 + years) meditator and having followed a number of disciplines when Michael asked me to try this series I was delightfully amazed!
Using the meditations in a succeeding manner over time as they are received has some wonderful effects. Certainly One becomes calmer and more focused during the actual meditation. The true benefits are noticed subsequently during the day.
If you have (or make..) the time to listen to even part of the program you're currently listening too during lunch or a break, my experience is that it has a reinforcing effect of stillness, clarity and inner calm.
When we take the time to be still and listen in nature we become calm, relaxed and centered. Whether a thundserstorm, rain on a pond with a choir of frogs there is an underlying ebb and flow. I've been with this series from the beginning and can attest it's worth. I trust you will enjoy as much as I currently do.
