Default My success..

well, where do i start?!!!

i found project medition when i was browsing the internet, and i have never looked back!

through good times and bad times, i have made a firm effort to keep up with meditation and have found it to have really levelled me out, i have found it easier to be objective through a massive split with my little girl's father (took me 6 months to get over that) through a few other realtionships and most recently, my recent house move (MAJOR STRESS!!!!!!)

but i have found that with meditation i have (almost) breezed through it all, and, on top of that, regular meditation has brought my blood pressuer down to such a level that i no longer need to take medication for it, which is a huge bonus!!!

so, for just a tiny lifestyle change, it has made such a huge difference to me

i would recommend this to anyone, and if anyone would like my help or advice, i'm happy to give it, confident in the good that regular meditation has done me!!!!!!!!!!

hi!

i would say the secret to my success is patience.
I have been meditating since last year, i started off with five minutes a day, then moved gradually up to 20 minutes.

I was going through a really rough patch, and i needed to find solace in something, and it was nice to just relax, and centre myself. It seemed to take an awful long time before i started to notice the benefits, but the longer i stuck at it, the better it got!

Now, i meditate for 5 minutes first thing in the morning and then 20 minutes later on in the evening (although i dont get a chance to do that EVERY day!) and it makes me feel generally calmer and more peaceful.

I especially like the excercise that came after each lesson on the original project meditation, just to sit and go through your mind everything that you were thankful for. I have a necklace that my grandmother gave to me that has lots of flowers on, and when i come out of meditation, every flower on that necklace represents something i have to be thankful for!

i meditate wherever i can, usually crossed legged in my room, my mantra is 'cloud' simply because that is how i visualise all the thoughts that go round and round in my head, like they are clouds far above me just drifting on by

so, there you go! patience, and clouds..... my recipie for success!
