Spiritual Economics
Do you think that there is a spiritual economics about our journey? Not in a monetary sense, but a spiritual capital sense.
Thinking about my own journey, early in the journey there was much exlporation, some experimentation, lots of questioning. Perhaps lots of time wasting, procrastination, excuse making, egoistic jousting, etc.
But then one day there was a realisation that "Straight and narrow is the path, waste no time or effort".
From that time precision increased, discipline increased as did commitment. Perhaps that lit a fire in the belly which translated into a relentless drive - or as some of my friends suggest - a madness for the love of God and of God - without delay.
So moving from a wasteful (perhaps depressed) regime to a highly efficent and focused (perhaps prosperous) regime? Or are the stars just playing with laughing Don's dice again?
