having tried a number of meditation techniques and another entrainment product without success, I began LifeFlow along with the free course "Discover Meditation" about 6 years ago.
In the beginning I would often fall asleep probably because I didn't sleep well at the time. The rest was really nice for me and I decided to just go with the flow. After awhile I noticed how I was more calm dealing with situations.
I played Creative Flow whenever I was working at my computer and found this really helpful too. Within a few months I had let go of some huge supressed emotions which arose in dreams rather than during meditation.
My life today is vastly different to what it was - don't want to go into all the great changes because I am aware that you are asking about the beginning.
The best advice I can offer is just be consistant, whether you meditate with LifeFlow for 10 minutes, 20 or 40. Just make sure you are consistant on a daily basis. Have no expectations and don't try to re-experience a previous meditation session.
To rest just a few minutes a day in the peace and tranquility of the quiet place within is life changing. To live in the present moment and not dwell in the past or worry about the future is a priceless gift.
