Default Surpressed emotions?

Hi, its me again.
I enjoying LifeFlow system, it's superb tool to make our lifes enjoyable...
But lately I'am trying to figure out about my meditation sessions (I know I shouldn't analyse it), but I need Your advise. I' am meditating everyday about 15 mins, twice a day. Some time ago I experienced some moments when I feel enourmous amount of love inside, to all people, nature and life, but now I don't experience anything except that that I feel mixed up emotions inside and I want to cry, but I can't (I have always kept everything inside), few tears drops on cheeks, but I feel that there are many emotions that should be released... Also I have many dreams about my problems or better life, but I know that analyse dreams too much. My question are how to release those emotions? I'am currently on level 7, I strongly believe that levels 6-1 would help, but at this time I do not have them.
Sorry for this long paragraph.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers. Domas.

Hi Domas,

it's great to here you are enjoying Lifeflow and it is wonderful to experience the deep love you mention. When you first experience this, it is human nature to want to experience it again and again, however, it is more important not to try or expect anything.

Meditation allows supressed emotions to surface which gives you the opportunity to release them. A supressed emotion is always accompanied with a physical sensation in the body. This may feel like a knot in your stomach, a tenseness somewhere or a lump in your throat etc. As the supressed emotion surfaces, accept and welcome it. Observe the sensation with the curiosity of a child and without emotion. Ignore your mind as it tries to get you involved with analysing the "story" and simply keep observing the sensation.

As you observe, the sensation will fritter away and you will know that you have released a supressed emotion. As you release supressed emotions, you will notice the benefits of feeling calmer and more relaxed in your day to day life.

I hope this helps and wish you an abundance of peace and joy

As you progress with meditation, this can help to increase your awareness and living in the present moment. For some people, this can help to make their job more happy, or help them to get out of jobs they are not happy with for something better.

I've known this to happen with many people who start with spiritual practices, such as meditation.

Hugs

Giles

Hi Domas,

you don't need to apologise for asking questions and I understand you clearly. I agree completely with Giles and wish you much peace in your life.

Here's a suggestion that I believe will really help you. Every day, take just a few minutes and think of everything you are grateful for in your life. To develop an attitude of gratitude is very empowering.

As you become aware of your mind worrying or perhaps criticising you, just start thinking of all the things you are grateful for. You are more powerful than you think Domas and you can create the changes you want. I will find Dennis Whaitley's poem "The Power of Habit" and add it to this post.

I look forward to hearing how you progress and wish you much peace and joy

The Power of Habit by Dr. Denis Waitley

"You may know me.
I'm your constant companion.
I'm your greatest helper; I'm your heaviest burden.
I will push you onward or drag you down to failure.
I am at your command.
Half the tasks you do might as well be turned over to me. I'm able to do them quickly, and I'm able to do them the same every time,
if that's what you want.

I'm easily managed; all you've got to do is be firm with me.
Show me exactly how you want it done; after a few lessons I'll do it automatically.
I am the servant of all great men and women; of course,
I'm the servant of all the failures as well.
I've made all the winners who have ever lived.
And, I've made all the losers too.

But I work with all the precision of a marvelous computer
with the intelligence of a human being.
You may run me for profit, or you may run me to ruin;
it makes no difference to me.

Take me. Be easy with me, and I will destroy you.
Be firm with me, and I'll put the world at your feet.
Who am I?

I'm Habit!

Habits are replaced, not broken. Habits are like submarines. They run silent and deep. Habits grow by observation, imitation and repetition from cobwebs into cables to strengthen or shackle our lives. First we make our habits, then our habits make us.

Success and failure are both habit-forming. Find mentors and role models with proven track records of success and emulate them."

We often form habits that take care of the way we look on the outside yet we often fail to form the habit of looking inward to take care of what matters most.

Creating the regular habit of meditation allows the harmful habits to be released allowing us to become familiar with a new and healthier way of being.

The power of habit is truly amazing. I am so thankful for the habits of meditation and gratitude - they make life tremendous
