Hi Tanya,
your question doesn't sound ignorant at all. You can ask anything you choose and it will probably answer many unanswered questions for others. Creative Flow is designed using the same technology as LifeFlow. You could actually meditate with it once you have spent time with LF 10, 9 and 8, however it has been specifically designed to gently guide you into an enjoyable and inspiring theta brainwave state associated with enhanced creativity.
Countless studies have proven that certain theta brainwaves are highly present in our creative processes and by entering this state of mind, you actually enhance your insight and creativity. Here's a link to the benefits of various states of consciousness:-
Brainwave States
You can have it on in the background whilst doing housework, watching TV etc. for as long as you choose. You can also listen to Creative Flow with headphones and without for as long as you like with a variety of activities. Here are a few more suggestions…
.Relaxing
.Studying and revising
.Designing, painting and creative work
.Reading
.Working at computer
.Using affirmations and auto suggestions
One thing to remember is that meditation allows repressed or negative emotions to surface, allowing you to release them and while this is a wonderful freeing exercise, it's recommended not to over meditate with entrainment. It isn't necessary and it is far better to let go of any negative emotions gradually.
That being said, it's important to be consistant with your meditation practise as the benefits are cumulative.
In a nutshell, a little daily medition with LifeFlow and you can play Creative Flow, Optimal Learning, Awaken, Nirvana, Peace and Harmony in the background as long as you wish.
Hope this helps and I wish you an abundance of peace and joy
