Default Question about finishing the program

I've been reading about the differences between listening to Lifeflow with headphones and over open speakers, and was wondering: if listening over open speakers has a much bigger entrainment capacity and also aids whole brain synchronization, could you technically finish the entire Lifeflow program (level 10 to 1) by listening exclusively over open speakers?

Thanks!

Hi LoveMusic,

Not sure where you've read that you get a "bigger entrainment capacity" over open speakers.

If you just just listen over open speakers you won't benefit from the binaural beats as these rely on the soundwaves of the left and right speakers reaching your ears in synchronicity. That's only effectively achieved when you use headphones. So whilst you'll still benefit from the monaural beats and isochronic tones over open speakers you miss out on the binaural beats. Myself, I most often use headphones and listen whilst meditating, though occasionally listen over open speakers. Other people do it differently, some just alternating between with headphones and without.

Hugs

Giles

Thanks, I'm aware that each of the methods have a different advantage (speakers - monaural and isochronic tones, headphones - binaural beats), I was just wondering if you could "legitimately" complete the program by using the open speakers method exclusively.

Hi there,

yes you can definately complete the program by using the open speakers method exclusively.

Monaural and Isochronics are proven to be more powerful with regards to entrainment although binaurals do entrain also.

All three waveforms are benefitted with headphones.

They all create whole brain synchronisation, however, binaurals are the most powerful for this.

Hope this helps and wish you much peace and joy
