Default Quick Question (Beginner)

First post so Hi, il be lurking mostly to try n pick up some tips from u guys.

I started listening to guided meditation recently but the last time i tried it i was lying on bed with my hands face down on matress and towards the end it felt like i had no arms or they were inside the matress and i wasnt sure if this was considered odd or the actual feeling we are looking for?

Sorry if this is a common or stupid question but i cant find any thing with similar discription.

Thanks for the reply polly will have a look at the link but after reading about kuralani energy in another thread im not sure im gonna continue meditating.

Kundalini energy is not something necessarily related to meditation i.e. just because you meditate doesn't mean that you will get a kundalini awakening experience.

Meditation has many benefits to help you throughout your daily life, not just on an emotional level, but in a mental and even physical wellness sense as well.

When we meditate, it's perfectly normal that we can experience different sensations, including numbness, light headedness, lack of some senses, and perceive those to be the things like you describe, but also we can experience immense joy, happiness and a greater sense of being in the present moment. Meditation gives us lots of experiences, but the practice of meditation allows us to recognise that these things are just experiences that come and go and all that is needed is to acknowledge them and carry on.
