if you want something you gotta get it! thanks Pollyanna
Thanks Pollyanna, I really needed this tonight, sitting on my green sofa that I wished for and got (you remember?). Others may not know this story, I am in a rented property and my sofa was falling apart, I really wanted (in my heart of hearts) a leather sofa and thought my landlord would probably buy the cheapest sofa he could find. My neighbours then offered me an olive green leather sofa as they were getting a new one. I need to write this down to remember, because I was feeling really down about money and stuff and lack of support from my partner in all of this, we do not live together, and I am struggling financially, with a child, on benefit. (This will change soon as I am studying for a degree and hope to be teacher-training in September). I was really feeling angry tonight and trying to get myself into a better place. Eventually I turned to project-meditation. I found the 'secret' again in Pollyanna's video. Thank you Pollyanna for showing me the light, I needed it tonight.
Everyone, you must watch this video, it is truly inspiring, and sometimes we just need to hear it, especially coming from a passionate person who believes it, we know we believe it too, but sometimes we lose the way, I found the way again tonight.
Bless you x

Hi there Purplevibe, yes I remember your green leather sofa and your lovely friends and neighbours who have good parenting advice
You are so right about us all losing our way at times and these are the times when we need a little inspiration to keep us on track - it is so hard sometimes to bring up a child or children on your own and work towards a career which will provide for you both - it takes much strength, commitment, belief and focus.
You have all of these qualities and nobody can ever take them away from you. I remember reading that the greatest struggle brings the greatest victory and now I know this is true as you will too
I wish you an abundance of love, peace, joy and dreams come true and look forward to celebrating your graduation
P.S. I love how they built the wall - laying one brick at a time. I tell my grandchildren often what Will says, "Never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something - not even me."
I love your spirit Purplevibe - keep following your heart

Pollyanna, a true inspiration
Dear Pollyanna,
Thank you for your kind words and for remembering our previous conversation so clearly. Yes, I am lucky, I live in a neighbourhood with kind people about me and need to be grateful for so much.
Thank you for your support, you are such an inspiration, your words made me well up, yes it is hard, but I know in the end I will get there, with the help and support of everyone here.
I am not only doing an English degree, but have recently started to do a Maths course and have my first exam in a month's time. Strange though it may seem, although I want to teach English Literature I need a Maths GCSE as well as English. I got a 'D' not a 'C' pass and didn't bother re-taking as I didn't think I would need it, being artistically inclined. (For those that are not English it is the exam you do at 16.) After doing a test in December the teacher said he would take me on, although the course started in September, so I have a lot to catch up on. So here I am, busy, busy, busy, but so glad that my son sees this, (he is 8) and realises that you need to work to pursue your dreams. I talk to him about it and of course how important it is to pursue your dreams, that you can achieve whatever you set your heart on, he wants to be an artist, he IS an artist, I should say!
He still goes to sleep with Lifeflow 10, he loves it, and I do a 'chakra meditation' involving colours to relax him these days, which he demands along with 'the relaxing music'. Yes, we are blessed, especially with people like you as such an inspiration.
Thank you for your words, they mean a lot.
Love and best wishes to you,
Namaste
Trish

Gratitude
Oh Pollyanna Thank you so much for this. Now I understand why I feel so uplifted when I see Will Smith on TV. Yay to the high vibe and positive attitude.
I have had a chronic back problem and had a severe acute episode that resulted in loss of sensation in my leg and 5 days in hospital. In my meditation I asked God for a miracle, I have come to accept new ways of thinking and I know this is possible. Clear as clear I got the response "Give up nursing." Nursing is my first career path, one which repeated injurous events kept me away from. It was my safety net that if my husband who works for himself had a period without current contracts I could immediately fall into full time work. It was my back up plan. To give it up, completely, caused me GREAT anxiety!!! But gradually as I looked at my emerging spiritual path with my potential to work in spiritual healing I became calmer and released the need to cling to this "security" and trust.
In the midst of significant pain in hospital, with my iPod and Lifeflow I found time. Time to meditate, discuss, dream, formulate, and in the short two weeks that followed lying on the couch with hot packs I found new aspects to my new business life. A brochure, a website, an officially registered business name. A vehicle for using the visions that playout before my eyes to lift this world, its people, myself. I found the true beginning of an amazing new role.
Releasing fear and self-doubt are big challenges and this video has come at the perfect time for me. As Will Smith said "There is no reason to have a plan B coz it distracts from plan A". This is the completion of the message that God was sending me. 'Surrender your anxieties and trust that all your needs will be met on the divine path laid out before you.'
I am grateful!!!! Thank you Michael and Pollyanna! xxx

Hi Pollyanna and A Work In Progress,
You see how relaxed I feel in talking to Pollyanna, I signed off as I do to my best friends, Namaste, Trish x
I have followed your progress, Pollyanna, how you made your dreams come true, and I have talked to friends, even my Mum (if you knew her you would realise what a big thing this is to me, she accepted it with no argument) about realising your dreams through the 'Law of Attraction.' To go back, I had just moved into a house a couple of years ago, and sat one afternoon, after going to the cinema with a load of young boys (abut 6/7), and I had 10 minutes to relax before we had another lot arriving for the afternoon. I looked out at the willow tree swaying in the breeze and thought about it, and my garden, and how I needed to get out there with a spade and dig, but I had no implements, I relaxed again looking at the tree, listening to some music...
A couple of days later (or is it a day?, very soon after) we are coming back from school and I find a spade, seemingly thrown into the bushes. It has obviously been discarded, otherwise I would have left it there. It is my spade I need to dig my garden. Then I get a call from my Mum to tell me that she is sending me a spade and fork for my garden! We had not had any conversation about this. The joy of the law of attraction is that if you focus on something enough, the universe will provide.
I had the same thing with a sofa that I really wanted, I really wanted a sofa and dreamed of a leather one and then my neighbour offered me one, just before I spoke to my landlord about needing a new sofa! It works, believe me. You need to be in the right space, notice how relaxed I was when I thought about digging my garden .... I was not asking for something consciously, but I was asking the universe to help me, as I looked at the willow tree and my garden.
I hope to grow more potatoes this year, last year was a bad crop, I gave most of them to my neighbours, although I think I will do differently this year, I probably won't, as they taste so good I want to share them with those I live with. Life is for sharing - especially the good things. It is easy for me to think like this at this time of night - it is nearly midnight here. Ask me what I think in the morning and you will get a more grumpy answer, especially as I have a bad cold and am struggling to get an essay in my Thursday. But essentially, as my Dad says, who is sadly not with us, but with me in my meditations, 'you get out what you put in'. Very true. lots of love, x :}
Namaste
