LOA advice kind of seems backwards to me
To me LOA is not better things being attracted to you, but rather you being attracted to better things. In other words, as we change and grow we'll subtly be attracted to more positive aspects of life and will be ready to accept those things. I can remember many times in my past when I was presented with wonderful opportunities and because I wasn't ready to accept them I could never take advantage. I recognized their significance, but my current belief systems were not able to deal with their power.
I just wanted to put that out there, because I think a lot of people get the notion that good things become attracted to you, when in fact it's the opposite. You are the one seeking out this better life and these better things. I've spent the last several months using meditation, and other behavior modification modalities, and recently I've noticed that I've changed. I've changed the way I present myself, I've changed my looks (my hairstyle, the way I dress, etc.) and of course I've become more confident. I also notice that successful people want to get to know me now, since I'm now projecting a more confident person, but I had to first bring myself up to that higher level.
So my advice to anyone seeking to attract better things into their life is to only worry about yourself. Work on yourself and try to make YOU into the best person you can become. Practice mindfullness meditation, use behavior modification tools, that will change your beliefs, and most of all be patient. I just believe that the focus shouldn't be on the end goal, but rather the focus should be on YOU and the present and becoming someone able to accept something better in your life. Just make yourself better and stop worrying about the specifics of what better is. Be open to the infinite possibilities and when you're ready you'll be attracted to that better fit for your new higher, more evolved self.
The good life is out there, always has been, but you need to be ready and able to seek it out, not the other way around.
