Default Advice and Method on Law of Atrraction

Hey all,

I recently have read about the Law of Attraction and I think I understand most of the basics. What my questions are about though is more about tips on using it successfully and methods you use. What are some tips for making the Law of Attraction effective? Do you use Lifeflow to visualize with or the Creative Flow track? What kind of method do you have? Do you focus on specific things or general ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi BitingWit,

To be honest I've not used the Lifeflow or Creative flow tracks for any law of attraction work, but thinking about it, I guess it could have some beneficial effect to help get the intention into the brain.

Some useful tips that I would say...

1. Have an intention to attract something that is within reason.
2. Use a positive affirmation and repeat it regularly
3. Ensure the positive affirmation indicates what you do want to achieve, rather than what you don't want and ensure it's worded in the present tense as though you already have it.

Aside from that, have you watched the docu-film... "The Secret"? It's a little too heavy on the attracting wealth side of things, but aside from that the underlying principles are described.

If you enjoy reading and want a week by week programme to work by, consider getting "The Master Key System" by Charles F Haanel...

The Master Key System: Amazon.co.uk: Charles F. Haanel: Books

This particular edition of it has the old original text from the early 1900's but also includes an up to date wording of it to bring it into todays terminology.

Hugs

Giles

I have read the Secret and I enjoyed reading it, but I felt it left a little to be desired in instructions. It seems like a lot of people talk about the Law of Attraction but there seems to be a lack of knowing how to harness it!

Edit: What should I do on writing down goals and wants? Thanks!

You might find it better to watch the film (I think it's available to view on youtube or to download for a small cost though I have the DVD).

It seems like a lot of people talk about the Law of Attraction but there seems to be a lack of knowing how to harness it!
There are plenty of books etc. with instruction on using it, such as the one I suggested which is a week by week course and is actually the "book" referred to in The Secret, as it's one of the original teachings (originally done as a weekly course then put into book form) from the early 1900's.

Edit: What should I do on writing down goals and wants? Thanks!
I would say don't try and focus on too many things at once. For starters just focus on a single goal (nothing unreasonable) and create yourself an affirmation for that, repeating it several times in a go, and doing that several times a day.

What I gathered from watching the secret (feel free to PM for a link to watch it free if you don't want to buy the DVD) is to use your emotional guidance system. You want to feel good all the time. And WHILE you're feeling good, think and visualise of what you want.

I also like Bob Proctor's idea of just getting out a pen and paper and writing "I am so happy and grateful that..." and then just write down EVERYTHING that you want in every aspect of your life in present-tense. Relationships, money, health, friends, job. At this point, you don't need to be too specific. Just get a rough outline of all the things you think that would make you happy. Then, read that over. Find what your drawn too most. Maybe it was how you wrote about a good job. Or maybe it was having a relationship with someone.

Then focus that one part. Lets say you chose a happy loving relationship with someone. Then we can start getting specific. We can then focus on that one aspect of our life and begin design. What's their personality like? What's their favorite music? Maybe throw in some memories that you want to happen.

Once you actually manifest that, you'll be in an even better state of mind. From there on you can fix other aspects of your life and it will be even easier because you put yourself in a good emotional state with the relationship you created (if that's the aspect you chose to focus on).

I'm currently learning LOA as well and one thing i realised is that you NEED TO SHOW GRATITUDE! I have a stone in my pocket that i carry everywhere and everytime i touch it i have to say something i am thankful for. After each thing i say i am thankful for i say thank you afterwards three times. Gratitude is a very important part of LOA so make sure you do it.

I also have another stone that i keep by my bed which i hold at night and go through everything i am thankful for, saying thank you 3 times after stating each thing i am thankful for.

One last thing you can do it write what you are thankful for on a piece of paper and why you are thankful for it. Each day write new things that you are thankful for and each morning you wake up read over all of them putting as much emotion as you can. Try and be specific as possible.

The more gratitude you show, the more of those things the universe will pass to you .

My suggestions are:

1. Start with the question why? The shopping list of wants may be a mile long but until you dig deep into the "why" it may turn into an exercise of walking down a mall looking into windows. And when I say understand why, that has to be a deep understanding - not a superficial view.

2. Once you have the why piece clear in your mind, then go to "how". Not the how to manifest, but the how that follows hard on the heels of the why.

3. Then and only then go to "what".

4. Write it down. Use a pencil and paper, sit and write. If words don't convey meaning to you when you look at the page, draw a picture.

5. Sit and sense - use all of your senses and take each sense to a level of intensity. If you were driving a car, take the sensing to the "red line". Feel it in each cell of your being, then beyond.

6. Believe.

7. Express deep gratitude for your why, how and what manifesting.

8. Do this every day.

You will know if you "get it" because the why will be simple, powerful, energy creating ... and so much more.

Enjoy,

Olmate

The "Master Key System" is the way to start. My understanding is that it is this book that first brought the Law of Attraction to light, and it is what "The Secret" was derived from.

There is a free copy of the Master Key System available by direct download at TheSecretSolved.com

You should know that this is my own site. But the book is free and there is no signup... it's a direct download. Perhaps on that basis the moderator will allow this post to appear. Just look for the "Instant Access" button in the right hand column on the site and decide where you want to file it.

One important note. The author Charles Haanel says himself that the book should not be read as a whole. The Master Key System was constructed as 24 individual lessons and it's important that each chapter is absorbed before proceeding to the next. I can't stress this strongly enough. It takes time... but then you won't be one of the multitude of people online asking why the Law of Attraction or The Secret doesn't work for them.

Good luck.
