Pollyanna et al - A question on specific dates
Hi,
I need some help with the specific dates issue.
When visualizing or creating a mind movie, some say leave it to the Universe, others state that you should have a firm intention and a dead line.....there are apparently 2 schools of thought on this issue......anyone been down this road before and asked the same question, maybe have a definitive answer?

Hi Coenrad, I hope I can answer this without confusing the issue.
"A goal is a dream with a date on it" is how I work in business. Goals are in concrete but the plans are in sand. For example if I set achievable and believable (to me) monthly income goals I believe like it all depends on God or the universe and I act like it all depends on me.
I visualise it happening and work out a plan to achieve the results. As I work my plan, I check every now and again within the month if I am on track for reaching my target. If I'm on target, I just keep on doing what I'm doing and if I'm falling short of my target, then I'll alter the plan.
There's always a worthwhile reward for me when I achieve the goal and I always take the reward (this is very important)
I always take the time out to do LF because it really helps me focus more, clears my head and allows answers that I need to surface.
I totally believe that what we focus on and think about mostly, we bring about. As Dennis Waitley says "If you go there in the mind, you will go there in the body. When we are really focused we become like a heat seeking missile towards our target.
I'll let this thread run as a dialogue and then it doesn't become like a lecture. If that helps at all, great. If I have misunderstood the question and not addressed something specific for you, let me know and if I can I would love to help you achieve your dream. Happiness and joy

Wow
Why I bother buying book after book, I don't know, that was the most definitive, logical and spiritually sound answer to this question that I have ever read.
I'm going to write this down and stick it on my wall.
Thanks e-Mamma, if there was ever any doubt in Mamma's always right, there isn't anymore.
Thank you for a the most sound explaination of this often thorny issue I have ever read, and I have around 6 books on the subject.......less talk, more action, follow your heart but use your head, leave the rest up to the Universe......Got it, finally.

That sounds so logical that I wondered why nobody else explained it like this.
Might I be so cheeky and ask what your business is Pollyanna ? Do you have a link to your website ?

Thankyou Coenrad, that means a lot to me although I cannot take credit for it. The success principles have always been there, just explained differently by different people. I have just been a sponge to the whole industry for years to enable me to achieve my dream.
I would love to save people all the years of studying that I have put in and all the cost of the courses, seminars, books and materials I have invested in and put together a simple and concise method to help people achieve their dreams. I think you have planted a seed for me. Thankyou my friend. By the way, mamma is not always right - but she will hold her hand up when she is wrong. I wish you an abundance of peace, joy and an amazing future

Double 0 Awsome - Code name Pollyanna
 Pollyanna,
You can take credit for what you are and who you have become despite the circumstances placed in your way, here is a saying down here, "strike a woman, strike a rock", this saying attests to the strength of a woman, despite your secret identity in the light worker community, you have rebuilt a life, nurtured other lives, both those carrying your DNA and your extended family here.
There is another saying here, " Teach a woman, teach a family"........you are once again testimony to this.
Thank you very much for sharing what you have learned, it means a lot learning from someone who has lived the philosophy as apposed to just knowing about it as most of us do.
You rock and are most certainly the rock so many of us cling to, whether you know it or not, want to take credit for it it or not, makes little difference to the fact, for many of us, this community is because of who and what you and others like you are.
Once again, my gratitude e-Mamma aka. Pollyanna...
