Exclamation Success Tips

SUCCESS TIPS

Having celebrated last year’s achievements over Christmas, (a little excessively) I might add, we had a day long business meeting on Monday to plan for 2009.

I don’t know if you’ve felt the same but when you’ve had a break and you need to reset new goals, it can sometimes be quite hard to get going and it’s easy to procrastinate.

One of the tools that helped us in the meeting was an old journal which was filled with success tips that had helped us to create the success we have and still are now achieving.

The success tips are from personal growth and success seminars, books and tapes and dvd’s of people who have already achieved great success. I’d like to share with you some of the major ones that have helped us.

Unfortunately, I cannot give credit to each particular person because years on I cannot remember who said what, I just wrote heaps of notes that I related to and added some of my own.

It doesn’t matter where you are right now and it doesn’t matter what you have or have not done in the past because I left school without any qualifications – I wasn’t even in the top half of the class – I was in the other part that made the top half possible!!!

SUCCESS TIPS FROM MY JOURNAL

Having a great goals program is vital and it starts with a vision. I think many of us don’t accomplish our goals because of the enemy that is holding us back. We don’t identify the enemy and therefore we cannot defeat the enemy. Success in battle is achieved by the defeating of an enemy or opponent.

Identify the enemy!

The funnel of 5 will identify the enemy for you everytime.

The Five Enemies:-

1. You don’t believe it.

When you believe it you can achieve it.

2. If you believe it and you don’t do it, then you don’t have a powerful enough WHY. You have to know your own personal why.

3.If you believe it can be done and you have a powerful enough why, it may be that you don’t know HOW.

You have to learn from someone who does know how. Learn from someone who has succeeded already, not just anyone with an opinion who doesn’t really care. Educate yourself in that particular field. (This was my enemy for a long time, which is why it took me years to achieve my first big dream)

4. If you believe it, have the WHY and you know how, then you have to change some internal habits e.g. Anxiety, stress, fear, doubt, even dare I say laziness, excuse making, just getting by, just not doing anything. These may be habits that have to be overcome.

5.If you believe it, have the WHY and know how, and you have beaten these internal habits, maybe you’re just not willing.

You have to decide to be willing and then you will become enabled. When you spend a little time being enabled it sort of becomes a part of what you do and after a while you begin to have a good time with it. After a while you find you’re having so much fun with it that it becomes a part of who you are. The very thing that you had to be willing to do becomes a part of who you are and you feel you were born with it.

NOW YOU’VE IDENTIFIED THE ENEMY REMEMBER :-

Success in battle is achieved by the defeating of an enemy or opponent.

Once you have identified what your enemy is, know this, you will end up in defeat if you feed it, if you talk and think about it. Toxic thinking is when you dwell upon it – you don’t come up with any solutions. You can do like I did and decide:- NO, I’m not thinking it, I’m not doing that.

Don’t feed the defeat, don’t feed the enemy.

Wear your success armour

This is how you claim the victory. You pour the right stuff into your mind – I believe with all my heart that you will be the same person in five years time except for the books you read and the people you meet. Bury the right stuff in your heart, build the belief, build the faith, pour the knowledge into your mind, build your enthusiasm – build your right motive.

When you pour the right stuff into your mind it just travels right down and buries itself in your heart – and you’ll believe you can do it. You’ll have the enthusiasm and the passion to go forward and accomplish your goals and become all that you were created to be.

Develop skills – be resourceful. You have been given the gift to be creative.

Protect yourself from the stuff that will hurt you – from the negative influences. Do you know it takes 20 positives to overcome one negative? Be careful of who you hang around with – of the things you do. Surround yourself with the people and things that are going to allow you to build your success.
The last piece of your armour for success is, do what you say you are going to do – TAKE ACTION. Knowledge is useless if you don’t put it into action. It’s not what we learn – it’s what we do with it afterwards that counts. The top 3% of all successful people act quickly. When you sit there and think about it, the energy goes away.

Do you know the average times a person tries at a new goal before they give up?
It’s less than one. Most people give up before they even try it once.

They say, "you know what, I’m gonna set a new goal and I’m going to dedicate myself to doing this" – they listen to Jim Rohn or Dennis Waitley etc. and think, I’m going to do this. They talk themselves into it at the seminar and then they talk themselves right out of it on the way home as they think of all the reasons it’s not possible.

Most successful people started out broke- had a tough childhood – if that’s you, you can wake up every morning and feel grateful because that’s what has given you the guts and the drive to survive – the grit and determination to succeed. When you grow up hard, you’ll always bounce back because you’ve already learned how to do this.

We all have goblins about money – it comes from what we learned as children. Maybe our parents always said, we can’t afford it or it’s wrong to want money or money doesn’t grow on trees or money is the root of all evil or we don’t want to end up poor and destitute etc.

How much money do you want and how much money do you think you are worthy of having? Enough to never have to be worried about it again maybe?

We live in a world that is fractured – a world of polarization – muslims and Christians – rich and poor – don’t become rich just for yourself, do it and help others as well and to make the world a better place.

If any of these success tips help you as they have helped me and mine to achieve a better life then I am truly happy for you.

The final note I would like to make is keep a journal – make notes of what you have learned from your success to enable you to build more success. Learn from your mistakes because if you don’t learn from them, you’ll keep living through them.

Let LifeFlow help you be creative, build self-esteem and self confidence and become all that you are meant to be. Tell the people you love, how much you love and appreciate them.

Imagine yourself, 90 years old – what do you want to look back on and see that you did?
What do you want to look back and not regret you didn’t do?
Regret and guilt are things I’ve learned to overcome.

I was hopeless and now I am hopeful
I had fear and now I have faith
I had anxiety and stress and now I have trust and peace

I wish you an amazing life of abundance

Hi Beth and sorry for late reply - I have been busier than normal with other work the last few days. Unfortunately I know very little if anything at all about affiliate marketing. Your ideas about posters in libraries and works notice boards sounds a good place to begin. It could really help people who face losing their jobs or need some extra income. And you of course

Your own enthusiasm and belief in LF will be your greatest asset though. My first big dream was to work from home so I could be there for the children and I still don't take it for granted. I just love working in my slippers

I will see what I can find out for you though, until then I wish you peace and happiness

ever since i was a youngster, i have always had this urge to fly. now that i look back, i could kind of picture my self as one of those pre write brother pioneers you saw running down a ramp strapped to this crazy contraption with the hopes of getting into the air... i didnt really makes that connection until a year and a half ago when i tried paragliding for the first time, that was also the moment i knew i HAD to continue flying. i made it my mission in life to go out and purchase my own gear... for a year and a half, it was all i would think about during the day and all i would dream about at night, it turned into an obsession.. everything i did no matter how minor brought me closer to this goal. i surfed the net for many tireless hours, contacted pilots, instructors and many different schools and then finally after a year and a half, it happened, i purchased my first paraglider and got my pilots license.... i was born to fly, its my obsession. now im working on my second mission, to become a heli pilot. its a huge mountain to climb. but im taking it in small steps...... i guess my point is the LOA really does work, but you have to want it more then you have ever wanted something in your life, it really does have to become an obsession. whether you know it or not, every choice you make or even people you meet along the way will get you closer to your goal.
