Copying files to CD

I understand how to copy files and music to CD's and/or to MP3 Player, but these two files I am having much difficulty with. This is the message I encounter from Windows Media when I click START BURN. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know what the fix is. Thank you

Windows Media Player cannot find the file. The link from the item in the library to its associated digital media file might be broken. To fix the problem, try repairing the link or removing the item from the library.

I have not seen this error before but it appears that the reference or link in the media library to the actual track is broken or missing.
Sometimes links can be broken because of file names been to long for windows to handle, but this was on older machines and I havent seen that for a while.

I dont use windows library very often but I beleive you can delete the track from the media player library (Library Only - so you dont loose the file) and then add it again using the file menu and then add to media library.

When burning music I dont normally add to the library i just select the file from the folder and click "burn to audio cd" the file then gets imported to media player for me.

if you are getting any specific error numbers let me know and i can try and find more information for you.
