Little problem copying onto CD
Hello everyone,
I am wanting to put my first Lifeflow track (10) onto CD because it'll just be easier for me to use. But when I try to do so, I keep getting the following pop-up (I'm using Window's XP):
Here's the link if the image above hasn't been inserted.
Does anybody know if I 'Ok' it, will it affect the track in anyway?
Also, I just wanted to make sure that Lifelflow 10 can be listened to with and without headphones?
Many thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
Not sure about that Windows XP message, I've not see that before. I guess it's to do with how you are creating the CD from the file and I've never used Windows XP itself to do that, and I'm not sure whether it's saying something vital will be lost or whether it's just the embedded information about the track author, album title etc. which will obviously be lost as a music track on CD.
Do you have any CD burning software installed on Windows instead? Usually such software will come with the PC or with the DVD/CD drive if you bought it seperately. This could be something like "Nero", "Nero Essentials", or some such thing. These will easily take an MP3 track and create a 'Music' CD for you.
All the lifeflow tracks can be listened to with or without headphones, however there are 3 types of entrainment 'beats' on the tracks, Binaural, Monaural and Isochronic. If you use headphones you will get the benefit of all three entrainment frequencies. If you don't use headphones you are unlikely to get any benefit from the Binaural beats as these require that the sounds produced by the speakers reach the ears at exactly the right time, which would only happen if you had each speaker exactly the same distance from their respective ears (easy with headphones, not easy with speakers).
Certainly, people do use the lifeflow tracks over speakers and get benefit, but it is recommended that you use headphones to receive the maximum benefit.
Hugs
Giles

Thanks Giles. I didn't think about Nero, so I tried copying it using that and it worked no problem. Must have been a problem with Window's Media Player. And thanks as well for the info on LifeFlow itself. I had read all the stuff about it but I obviously didn't take it in properly. I thought that the tracks were done using one of three beats and not all done using all three. I have been using headphones though, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks as well Panthau. Not that you need to look now, I guess, but the word 'Here' in my first post is a link to the picture. The image itself didn't insert into the post for some reason. I think I should have posted the link location rather than the link to the website (hope that makes sense).
Thanks again,
Jim

Oh alright, havent seen the link. This error message can appear if something is copied from ntfs to fat32. Those are filesystems, where ntfs can store more information about a file then fat32, and when copied from ntfs to fat32, those informations get lost. This shouldnt affect the audio stream itself, but the security, and some other information about the file itself. So as far as i can see, you can burn your files safely to disc without a affecting the content, as the error message says by itself.
Hope this helps,
Pan

Thanks Pan, I'll bear that in mind, but I expect I'll just use Nero for the rest of LifeFlow 'cos that worked fine
