define "good". ?:|

Michael's free "Discover Meditation" course that you can download from here is good. It teaches meditation and there is plenty of support on these forums for any questions you have. And it's FREE so that's got to be good, especially when a lot of organisations and personal teachers will charge large amounts to teach you what is essentially the same thing (and perhaps fluff it up with a few bells and whisles whilst they're at it)

Is there anything in particular you are looking for?

Hugs

Giles

i have recently come back from a Vipassana meditation retreat. It consists of 10 days of learning the Vipassana technique. The entire course was free. Food (2 meals and fruit per day) and accommodation was free. They have these courses all around the world in many cities.

There are courses for beginners and more advanced students. However I would suggest practicing at home before going. learn to meditate comfortable at home. You are required to meditate on a cushion and that can take a while to get used to for first timers. Google Vipassana Centres in your area and have a read. While retreats and courses aren't necessary, I would still highly recommend it. 10 days away where your only responsibility is to practice meditation is not something you can come across often.

Also you get to practice in complete silence for 10 days (no talking). This was a very enjoyable experience for me and I think is something everyone should try.

Peace and Joy
