The law of attraction is very simpel becaus it ís a mechanisim.
i dont now what sience is saying about it but. in all religions god is sayin, or we could say the creator, tells us that it will give us what ever we ask for. and if we dont get it, it that will be becaus of, what we ask for will not be the best for us. now the law of attraction theory is telling us that we can get what ever we want, but. it most be ur major or only desire, there should not be any other desire that conflits whit it. many times we comite the mistake of misunderstanding desire and logical selection. we force a image or u could say a fals desire in to our mindes as our major desire, and we do that because we think that, that "should" be ur desir, but yet deep in our hearts we desire somthing els. and we try to shot that desire of, but what we dont now is that it always is very existing in the background of our mindes. even more powerfull and vital then befor. and that creat two major desires, whic confuses our law of attraction compases. and we reach non of them. so the very law is working all the time, but some times is seems that it is not working, and that becaus of we are not useing it correct.

english is not my nativ languge, but i hope i get my point.

I agree with what you are saying..

Whether we perceive God/Creator to be some external entity or part of ourselves, the key to the LOA, is the true intention we have. We can consciously desire something and wish it to be attracted to us, but if our unconscious conflicts with that desire it will not fully come to the desired conclusion.

Using the LOA correctly is not just about saying the words, it is about truly believing in them.

I'd say you understand the LOA rather well. Your simplification of it is admirable.

I'm with Giles; your English is certainly good enough for this board. I've always been of a mind that if anyone can communicate in more than one language they are one up on most of us Americans that only communicate in one language.

I agree with you completely. When I first heard of the LOA and started reading on it I was confused. But now I have discovered what confused me was it's simplicity.

Gus, I am American and I speak 3 languages !

 

I am Dutch, and I speak English, a little German, understand some French, and speak a little Swedish. I am interested in Spanish, but lack time for it now.

I think it is very brave to write in a forum when your English isn't good enough by your own standards ( we think it is good enough because it is very clear what you mean ).

I am amazed by this thread, it made things clear for myself as well !

I think your idea is very interesting and I like it very much, but I have a question about the the desire.I think that desire came from our thought, so we have to control our thought but it is hard to control. if we can control it we can applay the Low of attraction therfore to do so we have to find the way how to control our thought.

well i try to do my best to try to explain my point of weive of controling of thoughts.

felling is in my world simply a package.
a package of natural drugs, pervies programing by ur slef or ur wolrd, and preinstall way of reaction.
yea all that in a fraction of a second. we call it feelings, but in real they are nothing els, but defeneatly magical and nice the positiv ones, they are just like rulles for the mind. it is kinde of a protocol for the minde. or u can say, predefined way to behave. fx. if u are happy and all glade as u ever can be, and u go outside to buy something in a sunny day. the first thing that happens when u get in the sun will be a pleasent feeling, and u start to smile, and feel even more happy, and u c the green trees, and u mantain ur smile and happynees, down the road u meet some one u know, and u heartly say hello to that person, and talk, smile,laugh. then u keep going, when u come inside the store u smile to the man behinde the disk, and so on.... u c all that feeling was completly cemical, and electronical and illusions.

but if u where unhappy u might even not go out in the sun, becaus u subcontiusly know what positiv thing can happen to u. but if u go out, u will hade the sun is so warm, or that it is makeng to much light, and the light hurts ur eyes, or u could "think" that things feel strangely wrong in sunlight or some. and therefor u hate the sun, and u mouth vips go all the way down like this:-(. and u look in to the ground when u walk cuz, u dont want to make any kinde of contact whit any one, there company might be pleasent one, and make u smile, and that is not what ur minde is protocoled to respond to, or make it look like. and so the whole trip down to the store, is like hell, and u hate it. and all those feelings are completly cemical, and electronical and ilusions.

we all have the same brains, we might not have the same color, body, hair but we all have the same brains. it all look tremendusly similair, it can the sam fuctions and so on.
but what make the brain so special in the body, more importen then the heart, lungs and so on is. every organ have very specific and simpel protocols, and moste of them u can only do it one singel way. fx the lungs can only be fill it whit air and, then it can push it out again. and thats it. but the brain is not like that, it control the organs, and it have its basic functions and adoptiv functions, and its "owen" minde ( that is another longer story) and it dos not complet whit out us. some say we are the cuntiusminde, others that we are the soul. and the way the minde work on in the adoptiv functions, are like this. higest nr wins. whic means when it looks on the adoptiv funtions for a cirten sitiuation, it first look at the most used salution, and present it first, and if u are not ok whit it, it goes down the list. and if there is no salutions u ok whit. then it starts to us all its capacity to solve the isue, that is why some peopel get in to some kinde of trubel(mostly happens whit emotionel trubel) and do not know what to do, that means ur list is empty, and after some time meybe a week, it kinde of fall in to there heads frome above, u can say ur subcontius minde have finde out of a new way to deal whit a cirten isue. or u can say god send u a salution as a gift for ur patienc. or the law of atraction gave u a respond to ur desir. that is how i c at it. so if u want new way of thinking, decide how u want to think, this could be a idea of how u like to act, and keep repeat it, and the more u practic it the more it will get intregated in ur way of thinking, and more easyly u can practic it. it will abselutly be hard in th begining, even meybe fustrating, cuz i minde have to ignor the higest nr win protocol, but soon it will be like walking, totaly naturaly to u. thise kinde of isues are hard to explain, but i did my best.

I think i forgot to answer ur quastion about desire.

Desire is the engine of ur development.
thougths dont control the desire, the desire controls the thougths.
fx if i dont desire a car, i dont even give them a thougth on the street, or when i c one i just register that it is a car, nothing about the brand or íts class or what so ever. if i do desire, many thoughts starts to come up fx what freedom one of them could giv me, the opertunitis, and i might start save money, or go on the net and c sites whit them everday. well to understand this isue is to understand there is not one simpel mechanisem that make us function true out ur lifes, there is many, and they are all somekinde conected to each others. fx the natural prosses we all go true dos make us desire to have partner, and have kids whit that partner. we do desire to use time at work instead of adventur because we want to make sure we can take care of ur childes, and we start think about ways to improve ur selfs so we can earn more. when we desire a special partner, or simpely a special kinde of a partner is becaus, we desire a good parent for our kids. but that is not how we think about it, we say i fall in love, becaus the person was so charme, sweet, kinde, and so on. all thise things we tell about the person is just conferming us that the person will be a good parent. there is also survivel mechanisems, and some are so deeply rooted in desire that we cant realy tell them apart most of the time. fx the desir of happynees is more then just a desir, the desire in happynees is fullfilling a part of the survivel mechanisem, a human need to spend social time whit peopel, good experienc, love, succes and so on to keep it self healty and in good shape mentaly in order to stay alive. that is y we all desire to be happy, and those who are happy, take aaction/steeps to stay in that way.
so u c desire dos control ur thoughts and the way we think. and actualy speak, behave.

i hope that i did at least give u a positiv perspektiv of thougts, and desire.
or just a alternetiv one.

dear all really really interesting thread. i have been reading up on LOA for about a year now and even have a sort of life coach (via e mail). but still i find it so hard to implement. i seem to be able to do it for things i can control like a job where I can take actions, study, apply etc but i have problems where things are more intangiable. i really desire a relationship but cant believe it will happen. i iknow that is stopping it as i can feel and believe in it enough to let it go and not focus on a lack. BUT... and here is the big but...what noone seems to be able to tell me is how you start to really feel it, do you have to feel it all the time etc.

also Ylmz (your english is great...I am a native speaker and check out my rubbish spelling) you talk about desire controlling your thougths but my understanding was that your positive thoughts would identify your desire and lead you forward. Can you clarify any more for me?

Well, I wouldn't want to step on the toes of your life coach (being a life coach myself, amongst my other talents ), so it would be interesting to know what your life coach has given you as guidance in respect of your desire for a relationship.

Unfortunately, if you keep telling yourself that you will simply re-enforce that belief. So let's start to change that belief shall we. *you nod in agreement at this point*

How about a little exercise for you to practice...

I prescribe you a positive affirmation to be repeated 10 times and administered 3 times a day. Something along the lines of...

"I am in a happy and fullfilling relationship"

The thing with positive affirmations is that you don't have to necessarily consciously believe what you are saying. By repeating the affirmation you awaken your unconscious mind to the belief that the statement is true. It will then raise it's awareness to anything that occurs around you that fits in with that unconscious belief, therefore giving the appearance of having things drawn to you that you need to make it true. This is the law of attraction at work.

If you want to create your own positive affirmation remember the golden rules: Always state it as if you already have it and in the present tense. Your unconscious mind will not work with things in the future or with wants and desires. Make it believe it's already there now.
