I've been in the creative arts all my life.
Music mainly although I've done other things.
    You're probably getting mechanical.
Creativity is about stillness and letting go of fixed concepts.
When I reach for the piano, and I can listen to it,it writes all the songs for me.
When I am singing,If I can enter the dimension of becoming one with the song and stop worrying about technique, the vocal flows beautifully because I'm not restricting it to my pre-conceived idea of it.

    Happy creating.:)

    WOW,
I have really enjoyed re-reading this amazing thread from two and a half years ago. So many caring and compassionate beings leave such wisdom here.

This particular post stood out to me personally because of the part about speaking/hearing the words "I Love You" and feeling the love deep within your heart that another person/being offers you. I am deeply grateful for all the love given and received in my life.

It brought to mind a scenario that happens each evening as I am sitting down, relaxing, I gaze into the eyes of my beloved dog as he sprawls out on the rug and feel the deep love I feel for him. He immediately gets up, walks over to me, places his giant paw on my knee, rests his head on my chest and looks into my eyes with what seems like adoration. This knowing that we feel for each other is a joy to experience every single time :)

Thankyou to all contributors to this wonderful thread and I wish you all, and those who read it an abundance of love, peace and joy :) :) :)
