    Hello all,

I write to firstly thank Project Meditation for one of the extra's I received some time ago, and secondly to inform others who may be in need of pain relief or a means to cope with it.

I currently am bleeding out, I seem to have an stomach ulcer, Wednesdays camera examination will tell me what is going on, but what I do know is that I have been bent over in absolute agony as many as 6 times in 2 weeks, pain from solar plexus to spine, IT HURTS LIKE NOTHING I COULD IMAGINE.

I have used Gaviscon fluid, Nexiam, and pain pills to get me by, sadly this helps but relief normally comes slowly, ulcers have no mercy or compassion it seems, its beyond pain, its agony, constant and relentless until you eventually sleep, hours later.

Last night I could not take it anymore, I have never been shot or stabbed in the stomach but I think I have a very good idea what that feels like, I took the pills and grunted, rocked and rolled for what seemed to be an eternity, that is when I recalled the Schumann resonance Michael wrote about and how peaceful and calm it made me feel ( it seems that the more your in pain, the more emotional you get trying to fight it, and emotion and stomach ulcer = MORE PAIN ) I played the track " Peace and Harmony ", for sometime, I couldn't get my mind of the pain, but slowly I became calmer, the pain more bearable as a result, I relaxed more, to the point where the medication could be effective again, I fell asleep unconscious of the pain.

In the past I have had to ride it out, this has meant a whole night of agony until the pain stopped, and knowing the connection between what I am thinking and the pain, being able to "switch off" greatly reduced the emotional feedback I was adding to the problem which was making it worse.

Life Flow technology REALLY CAME THROUGH FOR ME LAST NIGHT, thank you to the team behind it, I now have a tool of my own to add to the medical treatment being provided to me, one that greatly assists me when the medication has done what it can or still needs to take effect, lasts nights sleep was the deepest I have been able to get in weeks.

    Thank you all.

    Ouch, stomach ulcers hurt.
I found that Mastic Gum really helps. I know we can get this in the UK, though not sure about your part of the world.

    Hugs

    Hi Giles,

I don't know, but I am keen to find out, thank you for that.

At the moment I am terrified of eating anything, the agony simply is not worth it.

Life Flow is doing a great job of keeping me calm while the body and medication I have does what it does to sort the problem out.

    Hi there Coenrad,

lovely to hear from you, understand your pain and am really pleased Peace and Harmony is helping you. Just searched for an old thread from 2009 regarding a duodenal ulcer and haital hernia which I had taken medication for, for 17 years.

I haven't needed any medication since posting. I do still meditate everyday for 30 - 60 minutes and I constantly play Nirvana quietly in the background when working at my computer. I truly believe stress causes all kinds of dis-ease. My stomach always flared up when I used to feel stressful.

Here's the link, hope it gives you some hope and I wish you much peace and joy :) :) :)

P.S. I'm not recommending that you don't take your medication while you are suffering, but when it clears up, I would highly recommend you continue playing Peace and Harmony and a little daily meditation, which hopefully will keep it at bay by counteracting all the stress hormones :)

    Hello E-Mamma, long time......

I fully agree with you, medication, this I take, the pain and bleeding are a message, something is HORRIBLY WRONG and I had everything to do with it, so to the cure.

I have 27 scars, have done my fair share of dumb things to " earn " them but the pain in my gut is stretching my pain threshold like NOTHING I could experience as a male. What impressed me and why I wrote is how fast and effective the Life Flow track helped me manage my state and in so doing the damage my fighting the pain was doing, it takes huge effort emotionally to keep it together when your in agony.

The message is clear, let things go....and lifestyle issues need be addressed. There is a Chinese saying along the lines of, the first 30 years, you punish your body, the next 30, it punishes you.

I am reminded and inspired by your older post, meditation needs be brought back into my daily existence.

Once again my gratitude to you and the LF team, I cannot describe the relief of drifting off and sleeping despite the agony I was experiencing.

LF really is so much more than right toe up left nostril and a smug expression on ones face, 101 uses, from the mind to the spiritual / ritual to the physical.

Try a kidney stone, stuck in your tubes... that's worse. (been there done it, bought the t-shirt) I'm told it is equivalent to the pain of childbirth, and I can well believe it.

Saying that though, the pain of a stomach ulcer is like a sharp need being pushed right through your chest into your spine, so I also appreciate how much pain you are in as I've been there too.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

    Hugs

    Hi Giles,

The point of the post was not the health issue per se, but the effectiveness of LF as an aid in times of physical distress.

This post has further been augmented by Pollyanna linking to a post where LF as a addition to ones lifestyle as part of a meditative practice can have long term positive results.

Strangely, a book written by Tim Parks, " Teach us to sit still" found its way to my desk only weeks ago, the point of the book, meditation as a means to regain health in the face of serious illness.

At no point was this post intended to be a contest regarding what hurts more or less.

I am not into guru worship or "rightism", LF has been useful to me but NOT as profoundly as it was on that night of agony, in this, and this alone lies the success I experienced with it in as far as this post is concerned, I slept, despite the pain, deep merciful sleep as apposed to the usual night of agony trying to ride it out - it eventually stops.

Once again my gratitude to the Life Flow team.

My apologies Coenrad, it wasn't my intention to make it a contest of any sort, I was simply sympathizing with the pain you are experiencing as I know it only too well myself.

I didn't use lifeflow at the time of my kidney stone, but I did focus on being present and recognising the pain for what it was when I remembered to, and that certainly did help, just as you have indicated Lifeflow has benefited yourself.

    Hugs

    Hi Coenrad.

Whilst I am a meditation newbie, unfortunately I'm not new to stomach pain. I'm a fit and healthy male, but experience acid reflux occassionally. I used to suffer more regularly from it and was prescribed a drug called Omeprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor.

I'm impressed that your meditation efforts have helped manage the pain.

    Good luck.

    Hi PumpkinDream,

I have recently returned from hospital where the source of what I can only describe as AGONY was removed (a period totaling about 8 weeks in which I was mis-diagnosed with a stomach ulcer), a Gall bladder which was infected, inflamed and jammed up with Gall stones, after this experience, I am very grateful, I will get well, so many others I spent time with, will not.

If you recall one of the most disturbing images of the Vietnam War ( there where so, so many of those ) was of Vietnamese Monks torching themselves in protest, from what I have read, they sat there, in meditation until they slumped over and died. As sad and wasteful as this act of desperate protest was, it strongly illustrates how mediation can be used to disconnect from the pain, suffering and what ever else is going on.

Given the choice, I would have taken Pethadine or Morphine but what I had for the endless hours of agony was the "Peace and Harmony" MP3 and it helped. Had I been a more proficient meditor ( I keep telling myself ), I could have disconnected from the pain, non the less, just listening to the track as I clawed my mattress helped immensely. The proton Pump meds your using will save you from drinking gallons of anti acid, I am pleased your on it because NO-ONE deserves to drink that stuff, did the manufacturer use people with genetically engineered taste buds to try the "flavour" because I can tell you my taste buds still arent talking to me after forcing that stuff over them?

I cannot but encourage others to try it, be your pain, divorce, illness or stress, there is some peace to be found in meditation, some relief, having an entrainment track to help you out when solo practice isn't established enough is a blessing.

I am grateful to the Life Flow team for this technology as the Morphine was great when I could get it until the come down, the nausea, stomach upsets and so forth. Life Flow has no such risk of addiction or negative side effects, it pretty good medicine when nothing or no-one else is available in the still and agonizing hours of the late night and early morning and as Pollyanna states, there is strong evidence that a consistent meditation practice may keep you from many ills that may befall you due to stress and other factors.

Thus, as a preventative aid, no better time than now to start, you may never thank yourself because you may never know what horrors you may have avoided by giving your mind and body a break from the weapon of mind based self destruction that is so many of us.

I wish you well, peace and the bliss of never knowing what would have befallen you had you not given your mind a break.

    Hi Giles,

Yes, Doctors, the only profession I am aware of that can charge the earth even when they are wrong.

As for the illness, every day in every way, better and better and better, I am now actively protecting my kidneys ( Anti Biotics are "killing" me ) having read what you wrote, I have had enough of pain and drama, best take better care of one self and reduce the odds.

    Thanks for the well wishes,

    Coenrad

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY COENRAD

So pleased you are getting better - may I suggest something? You're probably aware that anti-biotics kill all the friendly bacteria as well as the bad. If you have Live yoghurt, you can start building up the friendly bacteria :) It must be the last thing you have at night though to give it a chance to do it's job.

Hope you've had a lovely day and may the coming year be filled with love, peace and joy :) :) :)

My new dog howls to let me know things but I haven't been able to teach him to sing yet, so hope this will do for now

A friend in America was diagnosed with a terminal illness and his doctor broke the news that he only had 6 months to life. Unfortunately he couldn’t pay the bill, so the doctor gave him another 6 months ;)

    Get well soon :)

Karmoh, I like this Doctor, I like him/her a lot, pass on the contact details, I may just live forever!:D

Pollyanna, thank you, the gift of a lifetime I received years ago, Life Flow, you where very much part and parcel of getting over the bumps and letting LF help those who are sincere about the need for peace, so I thank you once again.

Probiotics are lined up, ready to jump in once the chemical warfare has stopped ( please let it be soon ), as for the dog, GOT TO LOVE THEM, they wont give you any other choice, my dog used to howl when I sang, so I won't sing to myself, :)

As for your previous advice, enough talk from my side, more Life Flow or meditation on a more consistent basis, it has been made clear as a bell to me, the meat suit needs better care until I need drop it and move on, nothing better than a little LF 7 (my favorite) to sooth the nerves and open the door to well being; as for Classic magic......HEAVEN!!!

Make sure it probiotics AND prebiotics. They both work together for better gut flora.
