Hi, I've been meditating on and off for a few years kind of informally, lying down a lot of the time etc. and i recently gained the ability to have no thoughts and just be while waking for a period of time. Its a pretty peaceful state, no effort is really required, and nothing is good or bad etc. I feel like I might have reached a new level of my meditation and I have a few questions. Is this state the goal or is it the grounds in which something like peak experiences/feelings of oneness arise?, in other words should I be focusing on certain feelings, concentrating on something, etc. or am I free to do whatever I want in this state?
