    1. Within the community there is a spinning dancer. When you view her spinning anti-clockwise which side of the brain are you using?

    2. Which hormone is being described in the following statement:-

_______is the "stress hormone," and the more of it you have, the more stressed you feel...the more vulnerable to disease you are and the faster you age!

    3. Why does LifeFlow work with and without headphones?

I will be giving away a free deeper level of LifeFlow Audio Technology to the the person who comes up with the correct answer and makes the best explanation to the community about question 3.

Please post your answers in this thread: Michael :)

    1. Within the community there is a spinning dancer. When you view her spinning anti-clockwise which side of the brain are you using?

Answer: you are using your left brain hemisphere ( before I started using life flow the dancer spun clockwise)

    2. Which hormone is being described in the following statement:-

_______is the "stress hormone," and the more of it you have, the more stressed you feel...the more vulnerable to disease you are and the faster you age!

Answer: Adrenaline is the stress hormone

    3. Why does LifeFlow work with and without headphones?

Answer: There are three auditory beats embedded into life flow. The Binaural, The monaural, and The Isochronic. If you use headphones you are able to recieve the binaural and monaural beats. This helps connect the left and right hemispheres through the corpus collosum by using brain entrainment.

By letting your whole body receive the isochronic beat you allow your whole body to feel the vibrations and frequency of the beat as well as the other two beats that are more received and directed toward your auditory system. I would express this as allowing your mind and body to be able to communicate at a new level that it has not been able to do before. I also see this as incorporating all of the senses at once and focusing them in tune and balance with what the conscious is experiencing. I have been told that consciousness is being aware of being aware of something. The first time you notice a detail in something that you never noticed before. A heightened sense of awareness.
The more senses involved with the process the more information that can be shared and stored. Allowing the conscious to evolve.

    1. Left hemisphere.

    2. Cortisol.

    3. LifeFlow works both with and without headphones because, besides binaural beats, it uses monaural and isochronic tones.

Let's now try to see what these beats and tones mean by referring to the respective images in the thread What Exactly Is LifeFlow & What Can It Do For You?

First, I would say that binaural beats might be a misnomer for the first image, and I'll try to explain why: if you examine the aspect of the two waves, or tones, you can see that they are changing rapidly, and have slowly fluctuating maxima and minima. If the two waves are the real ones reaching your ears, these slow fluctuations may have some importance, but they are not the binaural beats, and you won't ever be able to see them, because they only exist in your brains. But if the image tries to represent what's going on in your brain, the slow fluctuations might be the binaural beats - Michael knows better.

Well, what are then these binaural beats? They are "virtual", or "ghost", or whatever you want to call them, tones that are made up by our brains when two real tones of slightly different frequencies are fed separately in each of our ears: such a "virtual" tone has the frequency equal to the difference between the frequencies of the two real tones, as if resulted from a physical wave beat phenomenon (remember the physics courses?), hence the beats name, just that now the interaction between the waves is all in the brains.

So may be we should call the tones fed separately into each ear binaural tones, and keep the binaural beats name for these "virtual" tones that appear then in the brains.

Let's try to make it clearer with an example. Say you want to get a 10 Hertz beat (alpha) in your brain: then just play a 500 Hz tone into one ear, a 510 Hz one in the other, and relax!:):):)

There are though limits for the binaural tones and beats frequencies due to the inner workings of the ears and brains: some 1000-1500Hz for the outer tones, and about 30 Hz (beta) for the inner beats.

It should be pretty clear now that in order to get some binaural beats in the brains, we need headphones to keep the two binaural tones from mixing outside of our heads.

The other two types of tones, monaural and isochronic, are for real, and they work due to the full change in the height of the waves, from zero to some maximum, by simply multiplying a so called "carrier" tone with a much slower sinusoidal or rectangular signal of the desired (alpha, theta, delta) frequency. Their effect on the brainwaves is due directly to these large height variations, so the headphones are no longer compulsory, as for binaural tones.

    Happy brainwave entrainment!:)

    Question!!!!!!!!!

If you use a headphone what about electromagnetic fields (NICOLA TESLA) ?
If your brain is working with (electromagnetic transmissions) NEURONS!!!!!!!
Is that not something coming in to this?
Meditation is natural whitout TECHNOLOGIE!!!!!! (EVEN IF I DO IT SOME TIMES WITH!
    Sorry for disturbing!

No disturbance at all, don't be sorry, be happy!:)

You're right about meditation being natural without technology, up to a point.

The point is that nature as it is today includes some technology, which is just humans' application of science. So to ask for not using ANY technology is to ask for human extinction. After all, even the plain following of some instructions IS technology, since it means applying some science, even if only at an empirical stage.

About electromagnetic fields: the Sun generates them, the Earth generates them, the birds apparently use them for orientation, the mobile phone companies and satellite broadcasts use plenty of them, so either that we want them or not, we are already immersed in them, so why care about some more from the headphones?

The point in using some audio-technologies like LifeFlow, I think, is that it can facilitate changes of the neural pathways in the brain, and its workings: this really happens in the case of advanced enough meditators, and there are scientific studies to support it.

So don't be sorry, don't worry, just BE happy!:):):)

    1. Right side of the brain
    2. Cortisol
    3. Simple answers are usually best so here goes. The reason these recordings work well with or without headphones is because they use all three types of sound waves to produce brain entrainment. Binaural - which must be used with headphones as a different strength of sound is produced in the different ears and this difference makes the brain train to the resulting difference of frequency, Monaural which is much more extreme in size and width than the binaural and entrains the brain without headphones through sound and vibration and this is also true of the Isochronic which is still more extreme and pronounced in wave pattern and thus also entrains the brain to the wave pattern it produces. By using all three technologies it doesn't matter which way you listen to the recordings you will have brain entrainment, however, using headphones will usually product faster results.
