Just got back from a walk in the woods with my grandchildren and had to share this with you. As we walked through the trees blowing bubbles 7 little ducks crossed over the glade just ahead of us and then 2 minutes later a huge stag was staring right at us for about 5 seconds before it darted off into the dense woodland. WOW The best things in life are surely free. I wish you happiness, joy and some magic moments :) :) :)

    Thanks

I'm new to Lifeflow but just want to say that the other day when I went hiking I felt totally - well dare I say this - stoned, even though I haven't touched drugs of any sort for a long, long time. I think these tracks are helping me tune in and appreciate the remarkable beauty that surrounds me, here in rural Canada. Foxes in the field, birds overhead, stars at night, the call of geese as they honk their way south (far too early for that to be happening!) There is such loveliness in being present, just noticing.

I see these tracks as just part of spiritual practice. I find that once the meditation is over it is extraordinarily sweet to just share the energy, beam love outwards to all beings and to our Mother Earth, It feels wonderful to do that and surely it can only help. Thank you all who have shared your journey in this forum. It helps me to read about your experiences. And thank you Michael for putting it all together.

I totally agree Bhavya, the deep peace and rest during LifeFlow is soooo relaxing, however what carries on through the day makes life seem magical. Thankyou for sharing also and I wish you continued joy in the present :) :) :)

Totally true. Every day when I walk home from school I just spend the time listening to my favourite music and watching nature unfold. I've noticed already that their are so many birds!! They fly so quick and land in trees with the greatest of ease. I would love to be able to fly!

It's funny. A lot of my music has been going with my life lately. For instance one song that stuck out to me was Weather To Fly by Elbow. I first listened about a week ago, and since then, on various walks I have seen about 30 planes!! One night I saw a total of 15! Four at one time! Some flying so low I felt like I could reach out and touch them.

Yesterday I listened to a band that I had not listened to before, but had been told good things about. One song in general stuck out, I really enjoyed it. When I got home I decided to watch an episode of the office. The song was playing in the background!! It made me so happy.

You are so right, the greatest things in life are free. Life has been so much more interesting since starting meditation. Thank You Michael.

    ultimate aim to realise god

not sure whether this free movement in nature , soothing to the mind bringing peace and the meditition techniques have any connection to any higher spiritual power which seems to be my ultimate aim.

    More magic moments.

As I was walking back towards the house this morning I thought I saw a bird flying inside the Kitchen. I hurried forward so the dogs wouldn't frighten it and there on the floor was a little robin. I noticed it was breathing and hoped it wasn't injured. As I bent to pick it up, it flew off and took shelter under a radiater where I was able to pick it up.

I took it outside and held it in my open hands. It stayed there for about ten minutes before it hopped onto my finger and flew off into the bushes.

Now I've just been outside for a coffee and I'm sure it's the same one that's come back because it came really near to where I was sitting.

I already have a little wren I saved a few months ago that comes back all the time. Another wren was chasing it (it had been after his missus, I'm told) and it flew into the patio window, was stunned and the other bird began attacking it on the head. After keeping it overnight, it flew off the next morning and it keeps coming back. I feel that they both felt the sense of peace in me (or maybe it's wild imaginings) and it was lovely :) :) :)

Wow that is amazing! You are so kind!! So I think now all you have to do is come up with some names for your friends. Oh wait, isn't that creating self in form? Haha! Well, either way, that is totally amazing. I would never have done that before I started my journey only months ago, and still have yet to see such a thing. You are awesome! Cheers.

The most amazing thing happened yesterday.

While I was reading A New Earth, I suddenly felt an urge to go walking through the forest. So I listened to that urge, walked over to the forest near my house and started exploring. Not 5 minutes in I came across a huge uprooted tree that had fallen on a couple smaller trees. I climbed the slanted trunk until I got to the top where the leaves had been, and I could see the setting sun over the tips of the trees. I was amazed how beautiful it was, but this was not the amazing moment.

I climbed down after 10 minutes or so and started trekking deeper into the bushes. I stopped a little later and took the moment in, breathed in deeply and felt a cough coming on. As soon as coughed I saw two hind legs jump over a log and dart further into the forest. I didn't even know there were deer in that forest!! I was completely awe struck. So naturally, I went in the direction of the where the deer went, careful to keep my eye out so I don't get to close to it. I remember stepping on a big branch and there was a huge crack, and I heard some scurrying. The doe was not 20 feet from where I was, looking straight into my eyes through thin branches that sprouted up everywhere. Those 10 seconds lasted so long, then it picked up its front leg, stomped it on the ground, and took off in the opposite direction. I knew it was then time to go home.

    quite an adventure Mitch !

It's amazing when things seem to flow like this, and it does so because you listened to the stillness within !

    Good stuff!

Good writing! I found myself following you both through the forrest. I've lived in the "country" most of my life. I grew up here, left the "farm" for a "professional" life and now I'm back. I find your experiences daily at any time I choose on my 172 acres. My most helpful meditational therapy comes from my gardening. I grow most of the vegetables we eat.

I'm a gardener too, Charles, also living in the country. It's a wonderful place to live and breathe and cultivate awareness. :):)

Gotta love that present moment when it's filled with such beauty.
Oops! I guess I'm letting my attachment show! :p
