    Another Newbie!

    Hello everyone!

I'm new to the community and mostly new to meditation. I had a small taste of it a few years ago in a yoga class, which was not enough to learn it yet left me with a taste for more. When I stumbled into this site yesterday, I didn't have a chance.;) :D

I've already done CD 2 and I'm waiting the 4 hrs so I can do CD 3. The clock seems to have crept to a standstill though...;)

Reading through the forum, I've already ascertained the value of this community. You are a wonderful group of kind-hearted people and I'm very thankful to have found you and LifeFlow.

    Anastasia

    Introducing myself

Hi! I am Jesse. I have been meditating on and off for a couple of years. I am at school and struggling with my studies. I am trying meditation again for increasing my concentration which is vital for my studies. I am very excited to try life flow as the reviews are awesome, and I am a college student who lives in a budget. I am hoping that life flow is the answer that I am looking for.

Hi Jesse and welcome to the Project Meditation community. :)

I'm sure you will find great benefit from Lifeflow to help with your focus and awareness in your studies. Let us know how you get on.

As an aside, you may want to contact the site admin and ask them to change your username to something a little more "user friendly". Putting your email address so publicly on the internet is a sure way to get lots of unwanted spam sent to you. ;)

    Hugs

    Giles

Hello everyone. My name is Teia and I am fairly new to meditation, totally new to brain entrainment. I have been listening to the meditations for about 2 weeks now and have noticed a difference. My brain is all tingly :D. Looking forward to being fully immersed.

    Hello

This is my first attempt at meditation. I suffer from chronic bone pain, due to fibrous dysplasia. Looking forward to learning how to control my pain!

Hi Krisslynn and welcome to the community :)

Here's a piece that may be of interest to you:-

“Dr. Margaret Patterson has shown that certain frequencies in the brain dramatically speed up production of a variety of neurotransmitters. A 10 Hz (alpha) signal boosts the production and turnover rate of serotonin, a chemical messenger that increases relaxation and eases pain, and catecholamines, vital for memory and learning, respond at around 4 Hz (theta).”

Hope this is helpful and wish you much peace, joy and painfree times :) :) :)

Someone please help me with levels of meditaion

Could someone please tell me exactly what each different level does , like each track is for?

Which part of mind or brain does each track stimulate ?

How does this system progress and how is one track different from the other one?

    Thank you

    R

    Hi Razor ....

I think the below link will be of help and interest to you:

    http://www.project-meditation.org/c...ct-meditation/22-brainwave-states.html#post38

When each particular level feels normal and familiar and you are enjoying benefits in your daily life, then is the time to progress to the next deeper level. When you have spent enough time at each of the beneficial levels of LifeFlow (i.e. 30, 60, 90 or 120 days. It's your personal preference) you will have learned how to reach this level for meditation more easily, naturally and consciously.

You benefit mentally, physically and spiritually in different ways at various levels of alpha, theta and delta. So it becomes useful to know exactly what the frequency of the entrainment program is.

Here is a link that you may find interesting which explains very well why each deeper level makes a great and important foundation for the next.

If you have any further questions or are missing any of the 12 Lifeflow support emails, please do contact [email protected]

    Kind regards :):

    Request for mixing

I wish for one thing if anyone can mix the tracks with the background sound of 'OM'. Hope someone can do it or suggest ways to do it.
