Hi, all. I have been trying to apply the Law of Attraction for a couple of months. I am wondering something: LOA teachers tell me that the more I focus on thoughts and feelings of having what I want ("positive" thoughts), the more I will manifest it. Respectively, the more I focus on thoughts and feelings of not having what I want ("negative" thoughts), the more I will perpetuate the lack of it. Hence, when I am thinking negative thoughts, the "right" thing to do is to not acknowledge them but instead try to change them and think positive thoughts instead. Meanwhile, all sorts of other sources tell me that happiness lies in accepting my circumstances, including my thoughts and feelings. So, from this perspective, when I am thinking negative thoughts the "right" thing to do is to acknowledge them and not try to change them. This is an apparent contradiction. Can anyone help me understand this?
