    1. What is your motivation for wanting something in your life? Ask yourself...."Why do I want more money"?

    2. Move towards something. Create a clear picture of what you DO want. If you want more money be very specific. Probably it is not actually money that you want it is what the money can do for you. Create pictures of what more money will do for you. More freedom. More time with family. More vacations. A beautifully decorated home. Let your mind make pictures of this and add to it. Support these images with strong happy emotions. Believe that you can have all of this and more.

Move away from something. By moving away from something you actually have to create a picture of what you DO NOT want. Your mind will create more of what you don't want because that is what you are visualizing. I don't want Creditors to call asking for money. I don't want to see past due notices on my bills. I don't want to lose my house.

    3. Ask yourself How can I create more money in my life? The answers will come to you. Trust that!!! Do what your mind tells you to do. There is action that you will have to do...it will feel effortless.

    4. Figuring out what you want is the most difficult part of the exercise. Creating words, phrases images and happy emotions that move toward something isn't that difficult once you take the time to figure out exactly what you DO want.

    5. Use meditation to direct your focus. Don't beat yourself up for allowing negative thoughts to enter your mind. Keep PRACTICING changing your focus.

    6. Be ready to accept what you want in your life....Are you ready, willing and able to have what you want?

    IF SO...

You will create what you want.

    Thanks islovin, seems like you´re a "creator" pro :) :) :)

Im enjoying myself, my life and my family. Im enjoying my new htc desire, my new laptop and all those things. But theres only one thing i really want, and that with great passion, and that is to wake up from this dream... not 1000 virgins, not 300 laptops or being rich or famous, or even mighty.

So it seems i should visualise an enlightened phil... however that could look like *gg*

Thats great, and i think one of the main reasons why we´re here, if theres a reason. Creating our life as we want it within the consciousness of what is.

Dont joke on me like that :)

But the question is, what grew? Id say its my personality, isnt it?

But of course its giving me another point of view, it enhances my "life situation" to see things another way... which isnt a bad thing for me and people around me. But doesnt waking up mean, to let go of all of this? Bad personality, good personality, grown personality... isnt it all judgement from the mind?

Ill come back to this thread if i ever wake up and answer this question *gg*

Maybe when people tell you that you have grown, they mean to say that you have let go of a lot of [email protected]#$% allready, and now your real self is shining through more clearly... Think about it !

I used to think when I let the "ego" disappear, nothing would be left.
But in fact, the real you, your natural state, the one you are without thinking about it, can't be erased. For now you are covering it up with thoughts and emotions.

When this clears ( and a lot of it has cleared allready, take our word for it ) your natural Self will shine and people will like you for it.
Haven't you noticed yet that people in the streets are starting to smile at you for no reason ? That people ask YOU for directions, even when somebody else is around ? Or start talking to you at the bus stop without any inhibitions ?

If you haven't, stop thinking so much when walking in the street, and start walking looking around with innocent eye's like a baby, as if everything you see is new ( which it is ).

    You will be surprised !

Thanks Edwin that makes sense... i still dont understand how my natural state of beeing is "something", but if it is something, its probably something lovely.

In fact, thats something im doing lately... opening my eyes and my mind when im walking around. I was closed up like a bunker before, but these days im trying not to resist what is... feels like beeing more vulnerable, but thats probably the price for beeing more "here" :)

*takes a bow and gives back the thread to its topic*

Thanks a billion times for mentioning EFT here and providing a link to EFT resources.
I have started using EFT alongside LOT and results are miraculous (in just a day).Previously heard of EFT but could not get much information about it.

EFT; another reason for me to express my gratitude towards my god.

    :)

no reason for you not to attain wealth

My motivation why I would love to have money is to be able to live my life to the fullest, I heard some people feel guilty whenever they dream of being wealthy. In my own understanding, If you wish for having a prosperity that you have always been dreaming of, you must feel happiness and excitement while desiring it rather than feeling guilty. Having the money you need is okay and it does not necessarily mean that when you desire money, you are a greedy person. The guilt will only act as the limiting belief and limiting beliefs about money will stop you from having all the money you need and you must eliminate them as soon as possible. Some beliefs are deep-seated in your being that it is quite hard for you to get rid of them.

I did quite a bit of research on the LOA when I wrote my ebook and yes it has been around for a very long time and is mentioned in books like the Master Key System by Haanel. Personally, I have trouble with it for a couple of reasons. I do not believe sick people or poor people attract these conditions. The LOA in order to be true can not simply be for good things, or it would not be a law. It can't be proven. A simple fact in my mind.

When I have been successful, I have taken action plain and simple. The problem with the Secret is that it is a marketing ploy to sell books. RB supposedly read the Science of Getting Rich as the inspiration. However, if you read the SOGR which is in the public domain, you will see the word attraction is never mentioned in it. The word action is mentioned over 50 times. What RB knew was a book on hard work and action would not sell, so the LOA became the main hook. The funny thing was that Oprah brought it to our attention. Whether she believes in the LOA or not, she is an action oriented person and this is the core of her success. I have seen tons of examples of positive thinkers, LOA believers etc who take no action and get nowhere and know of many negative thinkers who would scoff at the LOA who are very successful due to the action they take.

I do think visualization and positive thinking are great because visualization is a part of the planning process and being positive is a healthy way to live, but the action part may make dreams reality. Great discussion.

    Feeling Good Is Key

In order to attract more good into your life, the simplest and most effective thing you can do, is begin to change how you feel right now. One cool idea is to stop, and take a moment to be grateful for what IS going right. It just be that you’re still alive :) Either way, it’s something we can reflect on and feel gratitude for. That thought makes us feel a little better, and in that moment we begin to attract better circumstances, things, events and opportunities into our life.:D

    Hi era1213,

I totally agree with you. To create the daily habit of feeling grateful is very powerful indeed :) And there are so many things to be grateful for. One thing I often feel very grateful for is that I can enjoy walking and cycling so much and don't suffer with aching joints etc. I have had toothache or neuralga on and off for a few weeks now and woke up this morning with no pain at all and it felt like heaven - it was so lovely to just revel in the comfort of no pain. I would love to be able to naturally eliminate pain for everyone. When I sit in the dentist chair I am really grateful that I can relax into a peaceful state (I used to be shaking when I left the dentist a few years ago

Every now and again I post the link for the gratitude video for new members to enjoy, so here it is:-

Enjoy and I wish you an abundance of peace and joy :) :) :)

From what I understand it is down to what your belief is, if you truly believe you cannot get fat then no doubt that will prove to be true if you are not fat, It has to be a deep down belief that will lead you to what you will manifest, if you truly believe you can make a million pounds then you probably will as the universe will help you find a way to achieve this.

I would check out `bashar` on youtube quite a lot of this what is being said seems to strike a chord for me and feels right.

Remember that you attract what you give focus or energy to. It is wiser to think of positive things all of the time. Your goal everyday is to feel good. And if you are feeling good, make it your immediate goal to feel better. This way, you will increase your vibration therefore making the universe work to give you what you want or things that will make you feel good.

Live positively by thinking positively, and start taking the path towards the achievement of your dreams with the help of the Law of Attraction.

    Regarding economics

I certainly understand your questions, as I have had many of them in the past myself. I would like to address one of them, regarding economics and the allocation of scarce resources. I would strongly suggest reading economist Paul Zane Pilzer's book Unlimited Wealth.

Referring back to the original post

I'd like to address a point made in the original post regarding abundance and economics:

"Another one is about abundance: just believing that there is enough for anyone, is simply not true, as proved not only by economics (which deals with managing scarce resources), but by logic as well..."

While I certainly relate strongly with this viewpoint, I have read a few things that are a bit eye-opening. I would suggest, for anyone seriously interested in researching this aspect of the the law of attraction, to check out two books and authors.

The first is by Paul Zane Pilzer, and economist and an adjunct professor at NYU for 21 years. The book is entitled, Unlimited Wealth. In a nutshell, Professor Pilzer argues that available resources are a function of technology, and that as technology improves, effective resources increase. An simple example is that as cars become more fuel efficient, the petroleum resources available to us are able to go further than they did in the past. As we become able to do more with less, through technological advancement, our available resources are multiplied. It is beyond the scope of this simple post to elaborate further, but anyone interested might want to look into this resource, as it challenges the underlying assumption of 'limited resources' present in Western economics for the past several hundred years.

A second source of information that addresses the limitations of resources from an economic perspective is provided by Jacque Fresco, and, in particular, his book, The Best the Money Can't Buy. In summary, Mr. Fresco asserts that using science as a base for building society, there are more than enough resources available today to allow everyone on the planet to have a high standard of living. This is similar, in nature, to Dr. Pilzer's assertion that technology allows us effective access to unlimited resources. Mr. Fresco's assertion is that the monetary system itself produces shortages, not the lack of resources. He sites, as an example, growing up during the depression and seeing empty factories, while unemployed individuals meandered on the streets outside the factory. At the time, there existed enough resources, both labor and material, to operate the factory and produce goods - the only limiting factor was the monetary system - not resources. He advocates a 'resource-based economy', and has many supporters as well as critics.

Both of these views are controversial, but they do present alternative views worth considering, and are supportive of the idea of enough resources being available to support everyone's desires - a fundamental tenet of the Law of Attraction.
