Wink Hello from South Africa

Good day

I am VERY new to meditation and started about 2 days ago.

No significant changes yet, but as I read from others, it will happen.

I suppose I must learn to relax more and not wanting something to happen.

My biggest draw-back is to find a quiet spot, where my 2 boys will not distract (or find) me. I guess at this stage they are thinking that I am playing hide-and-seek.

Regards

Exactly

I have been meditating for almost a year now, and it certainly will improve, soon ! Like you allready said, don't expect dramatic changes right away ( allthough there have been cases, unfortunately not mine ) but if you persevere in your quest, the reward(s) will come.

Are you using the meditation course from this site ?
If so, I recommend you to listen to it every once and a while, I noticed that the entire course covers just about everything, but I missed a lot in the beginning that made a whole lot more sense to me after a month, simply because I didn't know what Michael was talking about in the beginning.
When you listen to the course again later, you suddenly hear him say this or that, and you think: "Right, that's exactly the case with me now" while you might have missed it before.

Good luck with your meditation, and keep at it ! You will thank yourself later !

Welcome aboard,
Patience with yourself in your quest for peace will carry you a long way in the silence. The good news is; you will be more patient in the days to come as you practice meditation. Remeber it IS a practice.

Gus
