Hi Guys,
I consider myself a newbie to meditation, have been meditating on and off using holosync (centerpointe.com) since 2006. I must admit the benefits are there, but when the unconscious comes up, I still have trouble with resistance, and find that I go through all kinds of mental, emotional and physical "storms". It is "stormy" at the moment (lol), but not too rough as yet. Perhaps I need to "baton down the hatches", rougher seas ahead!
I laugh more today, and in between the bad weather I am more peaceful, less anxious, my head is a bit clearer, and it seems I am far more capable with work and intellectual pursuits than before.
I will get there. When I get there, I will only know that I was here all along (but had just resisted the present moment). Problem is I know I am unhappy with the way things are just at the moment, struggling with loneliness and isolation. I know that if I could just accept that I am seemingly forever on my own, I would find that peace again.
