Hi Jay and welcome to the community. You need to consult with your doctor if you have schizophrenia, preferably one that understands meditation. In the meantime I think you will enjoy the beautiful music and the gratitude exercise on C.D.2 of Discover Meditation. It is a wonderful daily exercise that will create happiness and joy and I wish you an abundance of this

Kudo's Jay for taking control of your situation I can't help but think Lifeflow can help nearly anyone that approaches it with an open mind and actually practices it as prescribed.
Pollyanna is right though, if you've been diagnosed with the disease you speak of, you should really seek out a professional open minded enough to take a look at meditation as part of a solution for your problem.
I actually listened to a Psychiatrist on Public Radio just this week that supports meditation as part of a regimen for treating people with diorders such as yours. You may look on the web for an organization that may be able to recommend someone in your area. Or call a professional in your area and specifically ask for a recommendation.

Good luck and keep listening and using the CD's for meditation while your search is under way . . . it can't hurt; only help!

Gus
