Default Hello & thanks!

I have been doing some serious lurking on this site lately, trying to make a decision about doing the BWE work with LifeFlow. I appreciate very much the information you posters have shared, and I especially appreciate the obvious concern that you have for each other. I am listening to LifeFlow-10 as I type this (I know, that's not an optimal way to listen, but hey), which means I have decided to join you on this journey. Best wishes to all of you. Margaret

Hi Margaret and welcome to the community.

It's ok to listen to lifeflow while you're doing other things. As you say, it's not the optimal way to listen to it, but you'll still receive some benefits.

Do you practice meditation yet? If not, download the free "Discover Meditation" cd's and listen to those as that is really the building block upon which all the other stuff sits better.

The good thing with signing up to Lifeflow is that the support team are really helpful. If you want to stop at any point you can (there's no tie ins) and you can resume again later, or you can ask to have it delivered less frequently if that suits you better. They're very amenable.

Look forward to seeing you around on the forums.

Hugs

Giles

Default Thanks for the warm welcome.

Thanks, Giles,
And to answer your question, I came to meditation rather through the back door, after being unable to do it the usual way because of my chatty self. When I started doing Reiki 25 years ago, I started going to very quiet and expansive places, felt the draw to return there, and eventually was able to "sit" (at least some of the time) without getting too entangled in my thoughts. I am accustomed to meditating in relative silence (in terms of my environment) and so had trouble at first using the LF tracks without being very distracted. This evening I had more success by allowing the babbling brook to be something flowing past my Third Eye. As Ta-tsu-wa pointed out on this forum in one of his/her thoughtful posts (and I am paraphrasing), it is difficult to get involved in much linear thought when one's internal gaze is directed at the brow. So I will continue trying to use the tracks during attempts at finding the Quiet within me, but I will also continue to play them when working at my desk. Warm regards, Margaret
