IaOrana Ia Oe, Hello to all from a really new new Newbie.... This my 2nd try of trying to get a post up and running here, the first went to the bit bucket at the end of the universe, so I am giving it a second shot and hoping for a bulls eye.. I am older than dirt! A retired Navy Chief, and I make my home on the island of Raiatea which is the original Hawaii. I am hoping that this might help me make another decade go by without having to put me in a rubber room.
I have always been interested in meditation, but never seemed to have either the time or the attitude to take the leap... I was diagnosed with both skin cancer, glaucoma, and colon cancer a year ago last April and was operated on a year ago last May for both cancers. The glaucoma is treatable but not curable and as long as I am able I will continue to do what I like to do and keep on learning as much as possible.
I have been a lot of things in this life from a damn good electronics technician, a disk jockey in Honolulu, a computer Field Engineer, and a refrigeration generation electrical contracter technician here in the South Pacific. Now that I am in my Golden Years, I am trying to learn how to be a photographer and I am loving what I am doing and where I am doing it.... For those of you who might like to see a little of what I do, please feel free to visit my photo site at
Mah's Photos Feel free to browse through my photos and if you see anything that tickles your fancy, feel free to right click on the photo and do a save as.... No charges and totally free with nary a hook or and bad vibe involved...I am not a pro, and probably never will be. I take photos for the future generations to look into the past to see what once was...
I will be lurking and learning as I go in here and probably will be posting in the future, but first I want to get my feet on the ground and get an idea of what I need to do and where it will take me.... You will hear more from me you can be sure of that, but I would like to say I hope that one day to be able to possibly be some help to someone who may need my help....
As we say here at home "Haere Maru, Haere Papu!
