Default meditation virgin

Hi Everyone ! I have just tried meditation for the first time .
I had only what can be described as a waking dream seeing myself swimming under a waterfall . Then literally looking out of my closed eyes and seeing a green type colour where my body is . Also felt a bit like crying when I opened my eyes at the end .
Not sure if this is productive though as far as meditation is concerned . Possibly lacking mental discipline
Will stick with it as It did not feel like a bad experience .

Hi Kieran and welcome.

There are no bad experiences in meditation. Just allow what ever occurs and notice it. Every meditation experience will be different so we need to avoid the temptation of expection or wanting something similar the next time. Our only goal is to spend that time in meditation with a curiosity to anything which may arise.

Good luck on your journey!
