Can you listen to Lifeflow 20 minutes at a time?
Hello,
I am just starting into using Lifeflow and find it hard to complete a full 40 minutes at one sitting. Is it ok to use the recording for 20 minutes, twice a day? Or, is the record built to build for the complete 40 minutes. Are there recording releases at 20 minutes?
I appreciate your time.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Mr Beck...
I'm sure everyone here will tell you that meditation is VERY flexible, and there's nothing at all wrong with 20-minute sessions -- especially at the beginning.
If you want to reduce the tracks to 20-minute "bites", it's quite simple. Just download the free Audacity player. from the Internet. It is not only highly sophisticated, but easy to set for any length: just adjust the time in a box at the bottom.
I really like Audacity. It has become my favorite player, and I first heard about it from another member here at the PM site. It makes customizing your meditation quite effortless.
Welcome to this site...and to Lifeflow.

Hi Matt,
There are 20 minute versions available as well as 60 minute versions, but Lifeflow isn't like some other products that have a 'lead in' and 'lead out' section at the start and end, but rather they have the effective entrainment beats throughout the whole track.
It's perfectly ok to just listen to it for 20 minutes and then build up over time as you find suits yourself.
Hugs
Giles

Hi again, Matt...
Giles is quite correct that 20-minute versions are available. But I think it's much better for you to use a longer version -- then effortlessly "adjust" it to whatever length you choose. That way, you can gradually extend your sessions to 21, 22, 25 minutes...or whatever you need.
In my case, I have a 60-minute track loaded into my computer, but set to run 40 minutes. If I only have time for a 20-minute session, it takes only a couple of seconds to switch the timing.
You'll see the time box at the bottom of the Audacity screen. Just click the "length" option, and set whatever time limit you wish.
Best of luck...

Thanks
Bryan and Giles,
I appreciate the reply and detail. I will look into Audacity player and the other length releases.
Thanks,
Matt
