Default Hello Everyone

I'm new to meditation and LifeFlow10. I have a question regarding my experience with LifeFlow10. Originally i was listening to LifeFlow10 through ear buds (headphones) and i would get very slight body vibrations around my upper back and head area. I finally read my welcome emails and found out that using pilot over the ears style headphones would be best choice. So i got a pair of BOSE noise canceling over the ears headphones and what a difference. Now I'm getting strong vibrations through my whole body the entire time that I'm listening to LifeFlow10. It comes in waves, stronger then lighter. It's like somebody is shaking my bed. I checked, nobody is . Anybody else had this experience and is this normal or am i going crazy?

Hi zx9rams and welcome to the Project Meditation community,

When we meditate we can experience all sorts of sensations, physical, mental, emotions or even spiritual (depending on your beliefs). These are not really the meditation, though the meditation can allow us to become more aware of these things. Just be aware of them and accept them and let them go by bringing yourself back to the focus of your meditation.

You say you are using 'noise cancelling' headphones. Are you using the noise cancelling feature of them or is that turned off? The recommendation in the FAQ is that the headphones shouldn't alter the sound of the entrainment track but just let it play normally as it was recorded. Such features as this, or auto equalizing/bass adjusting etc. can actually prevent some or all of the entrainment beats from working.

Hugs

Giles
