It was a bit like that in the workshop.
When I was there, there were some people who "got it" and some people who just "didn't see the point".
I thought I'd "got it", but since then I realised that I had only partly "got it" and had a moment of realisation that now means I know I've truly "got it". I also believe some of the other people there who thought they'd "got it" had in fact only partly "got it", and conversely some of the people who thought they hadn't "got it" had in fact "got it" as much as those who believed they had, but perhaps recognised there must be more to it i.e. there must be a point to it.
(Hope that made sense

)
In summary, I can say that, in my own terms, it's a "scientific" set of experiments that allow us to verify for ourselves that we a) have a True Self and b) that our True Self is the same as everyone elses True Self and we are in fact all One. But it's more than that.... in fact it's not just scientifically proving this within our knowledge, but actually allows us to experience this Oneness first hand (as if Oneness could be experienced any other way hehe!

)
The workshop was very good at explaining the experiments and made it enjoyable to do them, but I felt it missed actually getting around to connecting us all to what the real point of it all was. I guess, in some sense, it is up to the individual to make that connection. Richard Lang did make it a very enjoyable day.
