Default synchronization vs entrainment

hi everyone.

havent posted on these forums for quite some time now... but I check it out almost daily
Still on lifeflow 10 (money, or rather a lack of it is kinda keeping me back from buying the whole thing) but very much enjoying my (now) daily meditation

Today I usede lifeflow with a set of headphones for the first time in...uh..a *long* time and I cant help but feel a lot more energy then I normally do after my meditation so I checked up on michaels reports again (What Exactly Is LifeFlow & What Can It Do For You? ) to see if maybe there was some explanation for it. I stumbled upon two quotes I hope you can help me understand better:

"The strongest attribute of binaural waves is their ability to create whole brain synchronization."

and

"Of the two, the most current research suggests that isochronic waves have the greatest entrainment effect."

Two different terms usede here, synchronization and entrainment. As i understand it these two terms are not equal to eachother, correct? If so what is the main difference and is it posible i experinced more synchronization during my meditation today becuase of the binaural waves compared to what I normally experince?

Sorry Raz, totally missed this post. Isochronic and monaural waves are the strongest to get you into the desired Alpha/theta/delta level condusive for deep meditation. Most normal meditators do not get into these deeper levels. Binaural beats are best for whole brain synchronization. I think it's good to vary headphones and speakers.

Michael is bringing out an affiliate program anytime now and from what I understand, you don't need to be a professional at this. I think he's offering it to the community members to help people out in the "credit crunch." This may be a way for you to get the whole LF system and some extra cash. I wish you much happines and joy

Pollyanna - thanks for explaining the differences. that really clears it up for me. I think I will try it next time without headphones.
