Hello all,
I'm new to PM and new to the forum. I have a question, I guess. I have been using Holosync now for almost 4 years, and am on level 3. Sure wish I had learned about PM before biting on the bait Bill Harris offered to pay for the rest of the levels for a "reduced" rate. Self-help sure can get expensive. My wife would never be interested in meditating, but it would be immensely helpful when she has to see the credit card bill come in.
Anyway, Bill suggests while doing his program to just let the mind do what it wants. So I did. Sometimes it seemed as if I were an overeater and had just been turned loose in a do-nut shop. The thoughts just went crazy. But he did say that if one wanted to they could also meditate, which I did sometimes. But it was far easier to let the thoughts run wild, and more entertaining, I might add.
I've been on LF10 for about two weeks, with meditation every time. I think there have been benefits. I know I feel much better meditating than letting the thoughts run wild. In fact, now that I think about it, my imagination hasn't been as wild in the last two weeks as it had been before.
I guess my question is, for anybody who wants to venture, have I lost out on something by not meditating during the last four years?
Also, should I maybe drop down to a lower level of LF, since I may have already gone deeper than the higher levels can take me?
BTW, for anybody lurking out there, the matter of experiencing chaos, and then reorganizing at a higher level is real.

Hi there Paulmed and welcome to the community. You certainly sound like you're on the right track. Although I often play Classical Magic, Creative Flow or Optimal Learning when I am working on the computer, I always meditate when using LifeFlow to meditate with.
In fact, using LifeFlow has enabled me to now meditate on my own (if I am a passenger and don't have a C.D. or ipod with me.) I prefer to meditate with LifeFlow generally though because it seems easier to stabalize the state.
I believe it's very important to spend time and become familiar with all the levels. After meditating with all the levels including the gamma tracks I have enjoyed going back to LF10 and continued to experience more and more benefits in my daily life and I now know meditation is ongoing and accumulative.
With regards to your question about have you lost out for the last 4 years?
I believe I invested many years and a lot of money to learn to meditate and finally succeeded massively with LifeFlow and Discover Meditation - the main thing is, I kept looking and didn't give up and I now enjoy tremendous benefits.
Here's a link to a thread which you may find very interesting - before you read it, you may choose to get a glass of water or cup of tea or coffee because it is quite a lengthy read but well worth it:-
Principles of Meditation & Entrainment
I hope this is helpful to you and wish you much peace and joy

Hi Coenrad, I liked your comment a lot...it addresses a lot of issues in an entertaining way. Ethics in business seems to be a widely ignored issue and it is kind of striking that this is so much the case in the personal development industry. Despite being an industry, there is “choice” and it is choice which offers to have and show proper ethics and do business at the same time. One is not excluding the other. Funny enough I think in the long run the lack of ethics and authenticity or coherency can and will backfire on the promoters of products who show ignorance in this aspect of the whole.

Prices are GREAT!
I AGREE!! Times are tough for a lot of people. There are so very many people wanting to heal their inner selves and this affordable price is a blessing to all of us. Not all of us are Sales Managers in New York City probably making a lot of wonderful money - yet!! I'm in the Healing Arts and even $67 sometimes is a stretch BUT I just prioritize what is necessary and important for myself. It's necessary food for me and for my soul! I do appreciate your prices Michael!

I completed the full holosync program last year. (Flowering Level 4) I missed my daily meditation so I am trying this one. So far I am impressed. I started wih level 7 (the first Theta Level) and I am currently on level 5. I was surprised to notice that I even did holosync for 11 years daily I still felt a bit pushed when starting a new level here. Interesting...

as far as having lost out by not meditating, ... well not all meditation is the same. There is awareness meditation and there is concentrated meditation, there is meditation on an object or opening all your senses and paying attention to everything. Both concentrated and awareness are better than being stuck or overtaken by thoughts but watching thoughts is good too because you are the observer and then not 'stuck in' the thoughts but learning detachment from them as the witness.
The idea of meditation being the witness of thoughts is good and while the meditation does bring some peace, its also a 'practice' so it is something you learn to do by practicing so that eventually you watch your thoughts all the time and are therefore free from them.
A great meditation is feeling the belly expand and contract or the breathing. Basically feeling anything in the body is good. Whatever you are doing while meditating (whatever you are thinking) you note it and return to the meditation (on body sensations).
People talk about 'out of body experience' but most people are out of body most of the time which means they are disassociated with themselves. In meditation, I want an 'in the body' experience . To have an 'in the body' experience, I have to pay attention to all the sensations in my toes, ankles, shins, calves, knees, thighs, hips, fingers, eyeballs... etc... as you can see body scanning and when you can learn how to do that, you get more and more into being 'embodied' and 'present'.
Thats a big chunk of the spiritual path. it seems to work with listening to the lifeflow for me pretty much
