Question Lifeflow as an to aid "Y' chi" during running??

Forgive me if this is an unusual request, I practice chi running and I love the feeling of "floating along" when my posture is good and my mind/body relax, trouble is it can be very elusive. I am wondering if anyone has heard of the prcatice of "Y' chi" (prononced "ee chee"), and whether anyone would recommend a particular level of lifeflow to help keep the mind relaxed but still focused???

Many thanks

Derek

Hi Deeks,

I'm a Chi Runner too, I have found that counting footfalls (just my left foot) helps concentrate the mind and 'focus' the attention. I relate this to counting the breath in meditation. For some reason counting 15 steps works. This is also the cadence for 10 secs (90x2 = 180 a min)

But on difficult days when lacking I have had great success with the Kelly Howell Running Meditation MP3. This sets a beat at Beta level increasing into Gamma. Not sure if it's a placebo but works on those off days.

Kind Thoughts
